Three Ohhh

Lucky, lucky me, I'm now 18 with 12 years experience!

Here's to the next 30 years!

The TORAnado is now Three!

Tora the Tornado turned three!  This little girl has the energy of thirteen three year olds!  To put it mildly, she definitely keeps Adam and I on our toes.

Tora also got a chance to have 3 small parties!  The first one we had on May 19 with Adam's side of the family.  We had a BBQ and cake and ice-cream.

Ajay was too funny.  Grandma kept trying to feed him some cupcake and he would get so excited and start jumping in his jumperoo . . . and let's just say probably more ended up on him than in him.

On Sunday was Tora's real birthday.  I managed to get her to hold still for a few cute shots:

After church, my parents stopped by for dinner and more gift giving.  She had to try anything and everything she got on.

Then Aunt Jandy made this adorable Tinkerbell cake for Tora and we got to to enjoy it yesterday.  I guess it's fitting that we sang to her three separate times for her third birthday!

Kindergarten Graduation

I am so impressed with how far Mieley's come this year.  She has learned so much, and has worked so hard.  (And she had the greatest kindergarten teacher ever!) Since Mieley still struggles somewhat with her speech, she has a hard time pronouncing some sounds correctly and therefore a harder time reading.  Some books would take forever to read, and I mean f.o.r.e.v.e.r! But I was so proud to see her stand up and read her story she wrote in front of a crowd.  I know we still have a ways to go and I'm sure her struggles with homework are far from over, but I know she'll succeed!
 

Speaking of school, the girls and I made these "pencils" for teacher gifts this year, and I must say they turned out really cute!  I found the idea on pinterest.  They are just Rolos chocolate candy with yellow paper wrapped around and a hershey kiss glued to the bottom.  Super cute, super easy!

This is Our Moment

It's that time again.

Time for another TaVaci concert. This concert's theme: "This Is Our Moment" on May 12th.

The concert was great, the company was great, my kids did great, and now I need to go look up in a thesaurus another great word for great.

9 months!

Easter

We had a great Easter.  After spending the previous week battling fevers, coughs, throw up, diarrhea, breathing treatments on Ajay, sore throats, upset stomachs, and all with Adam gone on a dirt bike trip to Green River. . .I was beyond happy when my kids were mostly better by Easter morn.  We stayed home from church, which I felt bad about being Easter and all, but still talked about why we really celebrate Easter and later headed out to the grandparents for a dinner and egg hunt.  

Here's a few pictures from the day.  The cute dresses on my girls came from Peggy (Adam's mom) that she bought in Ecuador a few weeks back.  They are super cute!  As for Ajay, well, he's just cute no matter what!
