godless (notice the small “g”, you hyper onto-theological types): A dynamic duo of students (one in sunny SoCal, and the other stuck somewhere in central Scotland… and sometimes the reverse!) dialoguing on various and sundry issues relating to philosophy, misotheology, proper theology, ideological critique, biblical studies, critical theory, uncritical theory, literary criticism, film, music, art, politics, sports, and anything else involving postmodern lingo, quasi-political jingo, and rants against Ringo… Starr, that is. I mean, come on. Did you see his interview on the Daily Show awhile back? Dude thinks he’s Bono – And Bono’s already kind of a pretentious douchebag. But don’t get me wrong – U2 recorded some amazing stuff back in the 80’s. Anything that Brian Eno puts his stamp of approval on is going to be classic. But still… he’s a douche.

OMG, the Bono/Ringo comments had me snorting out loud. Dare we label such behaviors as douchebaggery?

Stumbled across your inspiring blog this morning – whilst I was engaged in what is probably quite an apposite activity: searching for greater detail on Alistair Kee’s recent death.
Kee (wonderful wonderful witty funny dandy man) taught me back in 80’s Glasgow – and made an indelible mark. I might have gone a bit astray over the intervening years – selling out to an LLB (and making myself entirely miserable in the process – should’ve stayed with political theology and ripping the piss out of Ringo Starr obviously) – but Kee’s influence was deepest.
Your blog is a real trip down memory lane for me. But obviously very ‘current’! I’ll enjoy reading the back catalogue. Make a very pleasant change from legal machinations…

Dear Fellows,
Found your blog because I happen to have commenced a new blog titled unpresentables.wordpress.com. I’m sorry that I didn’t research the titles better. I’m new to all of this.
I’m also pleased that, as it turns out, I enjoy your blog. I minored in philosophy at Florida State University, where I also received a JD.
Best wishes to you. If you should care to address the near misses in our titles, feel free to e-mail me at bk.alex at hotmail.com.
Best,
BryanA
