The Best Day

Snow Day!

Today when we left for church, we were amazed to see that it had begun to snow!

Kaden has never really experienced snow... if he has seen it, he was too young to remember.

By the time we got home a few hours later, there was a light blanket of snow covering everything. We quickly bundled up in our jackets and headed outside.

After only a few minutes, Kaden's hands were freezing and he decided he is not a fan of the snow. The kid needs some gloves!

Camping At Cal City

The day after Christmas we packed up and headed out to Cal City to camp with our friends the Reilly's! Kaden loved riding the little quad - it's just his size.

Hunter had fun hanging out with his friends and riding the quad and the little mini dirt bike.

Kaden liked riding the quad.
Madison tried the dirt bike and decided it wasn't really for her. She enjoyed going for hikes and exploring the area. On one of the hikes they saw a coyote and two jack rabbits!

And Kaden had fun riding the quad.
Everyone loved the huge campfire and roasting marshmallows.

And Kaden REALLY loved riding the quad!!!!

Merry Christmas!!

This year Scott had to work on Christmas day, so we had to wait for him to come home to open our presents.
It was still a good Christmas for all of us, but especially for Kaden, who lost his first tooth!

Hunter's Ninth Birthday

Hunter is nine years old today...
he is a sweet loving boy who loves riding bikes and playing video games. Happy birthday Hunter!

I made him a cake, but I have to say, it's not the best I've ever made. In fact it was quite crummy.It had some issues, but it still tasted good, and that's what counts, right?

Upside down

Kaden is upside down almost a often as he is right side up these days. He's always standing on his head with his feet against the wall or flipping and bouncing around the house. Today I caught him climbing the stairs upside down!
