Whether you are turning an idea into reality, growing your freelance practice, scaling a startup, or strengthening an established business, our Academy programs provide the practical education and resources you need to build a business that serves your community. At this time, the only Academy program available for enrollment is our Launch Academy.

Too many business accelerators and programs rush people through in weeks or months without building the real skills – financial management, operations, leadership – that business ownership requires.

We are one of the few licensed educational institutions in the country that offer certificate programs specifically designed for business ownership. Our licensing means we are accountable to you and your business development, and our multi-month programs give you time to actually develop the capabilities you need.

Every Academy program includes curriculum designed around real business challenges, instruction from people who have built and advised businesses themselves, hands-on activities that move your business forward while you learn, a cohort of peers you will build lasting relationships with, and access to resources and opportunities through Uptima and our mission-aligned partners.

Our Launch Academy is an 8-month business certificate program for creative and social entrepreneurs at the idea stage who are committed to starting a business. The program supports participants in developing their idea and launching a business that can be sustained in the current economic environment.
