Does anyone know anything about these shows I posted about some time ago? A year ago I found these descriptions but they never seemed to make it to the screen. Any info?
WACKO (FOX) - Barry Safchik and Michael Platt ("Weeds") are teaming for "Wacko," a hybrid laffer based on Platt's true-to-life experience keeping the peace between his mother and sister after his father leaves the entire family fortune in the hands of the certifiably insane mom.
UNTITLED FRANCESCA GREGORINI/TATIANA VON FURSTENBERG PROJECT (New!) - Francesca Gregorini (HBO's "Motel Novella"), the daughter of Barbara Bach and stepdaughter of Ringo Starr, and Tatiana von Furstenberg ("Dracula"), the daughter of famed designer Diane von Furstenberg, have scored a script order from Paramount Network Television for a new semi-autobiographical drama about their experiences growing up at an all-girls boarding school. The project, which would revolve around four female teens with very different personalities, is set up at Perry Simon's Paramount-based banner. No other details were given.
MOTEL NOVELLA (HBO, New!) - Brothers Joe and Anthony Russo ("Arrested Development," "LAX") have pacted with the pay channel to develop a new offbeat project, a dark drama about a family with a history of psychological problems and the way those problems complicate their relationships. The project, which the pair will executive produce alongside Michael Costigan ("Brokeback Mountain"), opens with the death of the family patriarch and tracks his two estranged sons as they attempt to uncover the truth behind his death, not to mention overcome their own destructive psychologies as well as run the family hotel in Florida's Panhandle. Francesca Gregorini will write the pilot script with the Russos.
SOUTHERN VAMPIRE - HBO has dug up a new deal with gay Six Feet Under creator Alan Ball, but this time he's switching from the dead to the undead. The first project covered under the two-year development deal Ball signed with the premium cable channel will be based on the Southern Vampire book series.
Written by Charlaine Harris, the series chronicles the intermingling world of humans and monsters in contemporary rural Louisiana, particularly vampires, thanks to a synthetic blood formula that allows them to roam far from their coffins. "The books are funny, scary, sexy, romantic, bizarre, and really fun," Ball said. "I couldn't put them down. I will try to remain as true to the spirit of her book as possible." HBO has ordered an hour-long pilot to be written and directed by Ball. There is no set timetable for shooting the Southern pilot, but Ball believed it would happen sometime next year.
Ball, who also won an Oscar for writing American Beauty, last created Six Feet Under, which revolved around a family mortuary business. The Emmy-winning series ended in August. "I was ready to do something a little lighter in tone than Six Feet," Ball said. "Five years of staring into the abyss was enough."
i hate the weather. it's amazing how it can ruin all your plans. they say it'll stay like this the whole week. i'm so sick of it. arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhh.
leaning over it. oh so tempting. oh mandy was playing in the background. so far away it seemed. it would have always brought back that memory. if i would have done it. i hate my t-shirts. and my skinny-jeans. turned off the light. shut the door. ran away. i am scared i'll try it again.
Okay, so at the beginning of Season 4 every one was raving about Everwood. Critics loved it. Everyone said that it was their best season. And yet, somehow I lost interest in the show. When I first saw Season 1 I completly obsessed over the show with Season 3 however my interest started to decrease. I didn't really have time to watch the newest episodes in the last few weeks, hence 4.10, 4.11, 4.12 and 4.13 sat around my computer waiting for me to watch them. But I had to give them a chance, I mean Everwood had been my favourite show for quite some time. I have to say that I really forced myself to watch 4.10, but after a while it started growing on me. 4.10 and 4.11 didn't really had me convinced yet, but 4.12 and 4.13 were awesome. My EW fandom is so back..can't wait for the new episode. I'm really liking the Ephram/Kyle relationship this season. Also Andy and Ephram seem to be doing pretty good..loved how Ephram talked about his baby boy.
And if you can believe Kristin from E! then Madison/Sarah is coming back and if it should happen I'm sooooo looking forward to it:
From Watch with Kristin: What is the spoilery Sarah Lancaster news? Please tell me it has to do with Everwood! It does. And please, read only if you want to know! I'm told that Sarah is going to come back to Everwood! She's reprising her role as Ephram's baby's mama, Madison, in the season finale. However, here's the kicker: They're shooting two versions, and you're probably not going to like the reason why. If Everwood goes to the CW, the scene with Madison will air. If the show that I contend is the best thing on the WB this season does not make it to the CW, Madison's scene will not air, and I will throw myself out of a window.
nobody needs to answer...just had to write it down...

When I was 12/13 I was really in 'love' with the son of some of our family friends. His name was Patrick. I was really good friends with him and his brother, Martin. Nothing happened between the two of us, of course. We grew up. We stopped going on holidays with our parents which lead to not seeing each other anymore. I haven't seen the two of them in 3 years now. Today I wake up and go in the kitchen where my mother sits. My mother is on the phone. She turns from the phone and asks me which of the two boys is the older one. I tell her, Patrick is. She turns back to the phone and says something like "yeah...it wasn't Martin, sorry, Patrick's the older one....mhhm..moped accident...yeah, I don't even want to imagine how it must be for Sabine". I was so shocked at that moment. My mother and me spoke about it later and told me Patrick had had the accident a few days ago and had been brain dead. They had the machines turned off at 4 o'clock in the moring today. It makes me kinda sad.
Ricci and I just spoke about how we couldn't imagine life without our brothers a few days ago. Right now I don't know how to feel about Patrick. But I definitely feel for Martin. If my brother wouldn't be there anymore, even if he drives me nuts most of the time, I wouldn't know what to do. My brother is this big football (soccer for all americans) freak and he always goes around in our apartment screaming some stupid football slogans. I could kill him for that most of the time, but at least I know he's still there.
I have no idea why I'm writing this in my LJ 'cause normally I don't like doing stuff like that, but I just had to. I feel pretty weird. Nobody needs to answer this post btw. I wouldn't know what to say so you don't have to either.
Whenever I read a book I always read it to the end, even if I don't like it. I don't why, but even if a book is boring or just badly written I still finish reading it. I force myself to do it.
When you think of it, it's a rather stupid thing to do. Total waste of time. I still do it.
Sometimes it pays out tough 'cause sometimes books may be boring at the beginning but get better at the end. And sometimes I HAVE to read them for school.
Now, it's not like I read lots of bad books, but it happens every now and then, you know. I still LOVE LOVE LOVE reading. I would just like to know why I keep on reading?!?!? Really annoying habit.
I was wondering if anybode might have the song White Horses by Lucy Street? Amongst others it's on the Me Without You OST and I would be forever thankful if somebody could upload the song for me. Please.
