Mackworth Island - NOT!

We were all really excited to go to Mackworth Island on Tuesday. After driving for over an hour with seven kids in two SUVs that don't get the greatest gas mileage, we were told that the island was "full" and they weren't letting anyone else on for the day.

So, we drove around until we found this cute little picnic area where we stopped for lunch and some picture taking.

It was disappointing, but we made the most of it!

Ok, as promised here are a couple of pics from Deb's wedding. It was just a small (if you could call it that considering the size of the families), simple affair. Very nicely done.

This was Mom's '67 Camaro, but we sold it. Now she's waiting for her '65 Mustang Fastback to get done (someday)!!

Debbie's gettin' hitched!!

That's right, she's getting married!!!! Looks like the date is going to be July 11. She's marrying Kevin Owen and that means she'll gain seven, yes seven, daughters - and two granchildren.
