The other night our camera was sitting in the kitchen. Reese picked it up (which she is not supposed to) & said....I want to take your picture to Aaron & I. So she did. She did a pretty good job. Then she said "Now I want you to kiss". Here are her results.

 

 

Beanie Girls Run in the Family

Alisha, my sister, has a picture of her daughter Avry at about the same age as Charley in this picture with a beanie on. This picture reminded me so much of that shot that I had to post it for Alisha.

My brother-in-law & best friend extra-ordinaire got a new camera for christmas & so I volunteered our family to be guinea pigs. However, our photo shoot took all of 5 mins. as it was so freezing cold outside. Here is the one good family shot & a few others.

Charley's 2nd Birthday

This is our Charley girl on her 2nd birthday. When you ask her how old she is her reply is "Holly Hobby". I don't know why.

 

Her dad got her a ballcap for her. He got Reese one for her 2nd birthday & they constantly fight over it. She loved it!!

She wouldn't stop long enough to smile. I got her a bus & Bama & Bampa got her the plane. Both Reese & Charley have been playing with them all day.

 

My Beloved Hawaii

Aaron & I spent about a week in Hawaii without the girls. It was wonderful. Unfortunately, we did not take too many pictures as we were mostly doing repeat things....here are a few. Aaron surfing was one of the highlights.

Happy Ween Ween!

I could not believe how pretty Reese looked. I had to put make-up on her because I remember when I was little I always loved to be a gypsy because I got to wear makeup & mom's jewelry. She told me her favorite part was the mascara....she liked the "blink blink". This morning she asked if she could keep her makeup on because she looked so pretty. :)

Charley doesn't look very good in this picture but it was one of the best ones we were able to get of Reese.



The girls were so excited to hand out candy....it was as much fun as knocking doors.

Grin & Bear it.....my daddy forced me to put on this costume. He told me I was going to make mommy cry because she worked so hard to make our costumes. This is torture.

Canyonlands National Park

Aaron & I took a hiking trip down to S. Utah into the Canyonlands National Park. We camped in the needles district. We hiked about 12 miles the first day & then did some shorter hikes the next day. We fully intended to stay our last night there but when we got back to camp our water cooler (which we left inside our tent) had split all over our sleeping bags, mattress, & aaron's clothes due to high winds. There was a storm coming & the wind was blowing pretty bad, so we broke camp in about 20 mins. shoved everything in our car & headed back to Moab. No vacancies due to a marathon so we decided to have an adventure & drove to Grand Junction, CO & spent the night there. Many good times, can't wait to go again! Many thanks to Aaron's mom & sister Connie & brother-in-law Neal who watched our girls.
