Hallow Grove fun fact: Death’s Library was at first a temporary “guest room” that was modeled after the furniture in my actual bedroom. it was intended for an early access release where you could go up to a sprite of real me and talk to me about the game’s development

I decided to pass on an early access release since I didn’t see the point, so we got Death’s Library instead! Isn’t that neat?

What was originally just a short, punchy game-jam game has been turning into a more fleshed out roguelike.

It’s still pretty early on in development, so expect way more for this project in due time!

mockup for a new dialogue box style. trying out some new talksprite styles, a different font, and a different textbox. i feel like this look gives the game more of that distinct retro vibe, and it gives it some stylistic maturity
