Valr Grav-Skiff
Assembly Instructions

Thank you for purchasing the grav-skiff upgrade kit.
This kit is designed for use with the Primaris Invader ATV kit by Games Workshop.
The instructions below will take you through the build of a grav-bike step-by-step.
IMPORTANT! Please take care when working with resin, do not breath in resin dust.
Step 01 – Resin Preparation
The first step is to clean up your printed resin components. This should be done with a sharp hobby knife. It is not recommended to use clippers as the brittle printed resin will break and fracture.
Your kit will include the following parts: 2x Air Intakes, 2x Bull-Bars, 2x Engines, 2x Front Grav-plates, 2x Rear Grav-plates and 1x Chassis base plate.

When removing the resin supports take care not to clip off the connecting rods on the grav-plates. See image below.
Once all the printing supports have been removed the components should look like this:

Once the resin components are ready, the plastic outrider components need to be prepared. This will involve cutting up the plastic kits.
Step 02 – Plastic Chassis Preparation & Core Kit Assembly
A photo of the example plastic components before any cutting is done are included below:

Starting with the two side chassis components of the plastic invader ATV, the wheels and bracing arms have been clipped off from both the front and the back. All areas have been carefully sanded flat/to the shape of the component.

And after clipping and sanding:

Next the principal chassis needs trimming on the underside, removing two small triangular projections.

The chassis sides and the principal chassis can then be assembled:

The front bull-bar should be cut flush with the sides of the bottom plate:

The front of the plastic kit should then be assembled; central stem, auto-boltrifles and front armour plate:

Step 03 – Engines & Air Intakes
The first item to fit is the resin air intakes (both left and right), these will slot into the prepared front of the plastic kit where the front wheel arm used to be.
Care should be taken to make sure they are level an fit comfortably in the plastic kit. Sanding back the plastic as needed.

The second item to fit is the resin chassis base plate, this will slot straight into the prepared underside of the plastic kit (not this is why we trimmed back the small triangle projections previously). The plastic exhaust should also be fitted at this stage:

STOP! it is at this stage that you can fill any slight gaps around the side of the chassis bottom plate.
The third items to fit are the two resin engines, these slot on either side of the rear footplate:

The bull-bars can then be glued in and aligned. Take care to make sure they project equally and sit level with each other.

Step 04 – Grav Repulsor Plates
The next step is to fit the grav-repulsor plates to the underside of the assembled chassis. This step requires careful alignment.
The rear grav plates should be fitted first. The square chamfered end of the grav-plate support bracket will fit snugly against the underside of the plastic foot plate:
Note in image 2 below you can see that the brackets are hard against the sides of the exhaust have the rounded bracket edge facing to the rear.

The front grav plates are to be fitted next, first the small projections on the both sides of bottom of the plastic kit need to be trimmed off:

The front grav plates fitted so the connecting brackets fit on the chamfered chassis underside. They should be positions as per the photos below:

Step 06 – Crew & Turret Gun
With the grav-plates glued in place, the crew and turret gun can be finished using the instructions provided in the base plastic kit.

I would recommend using 5mm perspex rod to mount the grav-skiff on its base.
I would also recommend drilling out the gun barrels on the plastic kit.
I hope you have found this grav-skiff assembly tutorial useful.
