At the end of last year, I got a "year ahead" reading from Val. She said somethings that seemed foreign and unattainable for me. In short, she said, "you will publish more, get ready for that". I hadn't even written anything, so it was like um ok, girl! LOL. In addition, she said you will be called to teach something that is related to what you do--stay ready to teach whatever. It will be like a last-minute notice. So be prepared. Both have now come into fruition just as she said.

Val is very accurate and so down to earth. Her dedication to supporting other woman is genuine and impactful. I had a venting session on my TikTok page yesterday, and one of my mutuals recommended Val, truly the best recommendation I could’ve received. I spoke with Val because I am at a point in life where I figured, "Why not?"
She IMMEDIATELY sussed out that I'm skeptical and wasn't totally sure about what we were about to get into.
Sis made me feel so sure and comfortable- she let me know "This is what you are dealing with and this is what I see."
She also mentioned something that I told only myself- I would believe her if she brought up something I'd thought about.
Well, not only did she bring it up, but she lingered on it a moment. She corrected me about something I thought I needed but didn't (she was right!) and has gotten me on track.
I have to admit, I'm not a skeptic with Val!

Meeting with Val was one of the best decisions I've made and one of the best experiences I've had. She helped me to shift the way I approach job hunting and networking. I lost my job back in April 2025, so between personal stuff and life and general, I've been fighting an uphill battle to get another position. I was undervaluing myself and was not applying for positions I would be a good fit for because I didn't feel qualified to do enough of the job descriptions. I was primarily networking virtually and was hiding behind the camera. I was also hiding my hair and wearing it slicked back in a bun. I was conforming to European beauty standards and the idea of White Supremacist decorum, aka "professionalism." She delivered a message from my Ancestors that I need not yield to these ideals and to show up as myself because although she has never seen me, she was told that I am a "knock out." Now my big head is going to get my hair done and show up and out. Thank you Val!
