My song Jewel (The Magical Dog), which you can download for your very own here, has been played on the Antecubital Liposuction podcast. Kind of a Dr. Demento thing.

The episode with Jewel can be found here. Make sure to listen after the song for an interesting (but untrue) theory on how I wrote the song.

Hey all,
Long time no post, because as I mentioned I keep a Myspace blog now (which you can find here). However, I know a few people still watch this space and I thought they may want to know about my new album, That's Life.

Recorded in Early Feb. of 06, That's Life includes originals I've written since I moved away from West Virginia, as well as covers of Hurt, Lovers in A Dangerous Time, and a bunch of rap songs in White Boy Rap.

To download the album

To friend us on Myspace

Also, for the sake of cross-referencing, I've put a directory of pretty much everything I've published online at my old website.

Peace, dogs.

Yesterday, I became a man.

Yes, I passed the ultra-important threshold betwixt mine 23rd and 24th year.

It was a good birthday, over all.

I spent NYE with my sister and her family. Didn't drink much at all, but still had a good time. Also went to see the Chronic(What!?)cles of Narnia, which was more a LOTR ripoff, less the story I loved from my youth.

My dad took me out for breakfast on Sunday morning, a tradition we've kept since 1993. Afterwards: church, a nap, birthday cake, and peanut butter ice cream (YUM!).

I spent last night at my little sister's apartment, where my older sister and I hung out with her and her fiance, Tony. We played some Trivial Persuit: Pop Culture DVD Edition, and my team won (obviously, I'm a very trivial guy). Had some fun coversation and a lot of laughs.

All told, one of the happiest birthdays I've ever had.

So, I'm flying back to LALA land on Sat. I hope to see some of you before I leave~! Message me or some shit!

May the impotant bastards continue to falter,

Hello there all you happy people.

Killer time in West Virginia so far. I've been out and about as much as one could expect. In fact, I don't think I've had one "in" night since I've been here.

Some highlights:

-- A drunken, swastika-tatooed redneck tried to start a fight with me at the V-Twin
-- I relearned an old lesson (bros before hos)
-- Reconnected with massive amounts of people
-- *** censored ***
-- Borrowed my little brother's car more times than I'd like to admit
-- Did all my X-Mas shopping in two hours at 5:00pm Christmas Eve
-- Drank. Drink. Drunk. A lot.
-- Picked up a drink for my old Driver's Ed teacher

Christmas Day was mostly devoted to the family, as per usual. Some photographic highlights from my li' sis's camera:

Well, that's about it.

Got to see the clique last night. Always a good time.

Heading out to Foggy Bottom in a couple hours. Should be good.

Much love, one heart.
