Colton Howard

I am now the mother of FOUR handsome boys!!!! On March 13th, Colton Howard Wooters joined our family. It has been absolutely wonderful having him in our family. He is such a good baby, too! Very easy going and an amazing sleeper. Here are a few pictures of my new little bundle of joy.Image

Catch up post

I know I am so bad with staying up on my blog posts. And I'm sure I won't get better any time soon, with the baby coming so soon. But I figured I should give some quick highlights of the last few months. Enjoy!

Birthdays!!! The fall is a busy birthday time in our family. Both Josh and Jud have their birthday's the last week of October and mine is in November. Combine that with all the holidays and life gets pretty crazy.

Josh is now 6 years old! He sure is growing up fast and is already starting to eat us out of house and home! (don't make fun of the cake decorating... Josh requested a Masiakasaurus cake and this is as good as I could do. He was satisfied, so that's all that matters!)ImageThe boys always do a great job at making my birthday special.
ImageHolidays!!! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas this year! For Thanksgiving we just stayed home and had a quiet Thanksgiving with just our little family. It was the first time we have ever done that and it was sooo nice! We all really enjoyed just relaxing and being together. It truly was a vacation! And speaking of vacations... for Christmas we drove to Minnesota to spend two weeks with my parents. It was exhausting and very cold, but so much fun! The boys absolutely loved every minute. They loved playing in the snow, loved being with their cousins, and just simply loved everything about Minnesota. They still keep asking if we can move our house up there. :) We are so glad we got to spend so much time with family and will truly treasure those memories. Here is Josh in the snow, William helping Grandpa shovel, and Owen playing outside with Grandma.

We've been busy rearranging the boys' bedrooms, to make room for the new baby. I can't believe that in just a few more weeks he'll be making his grand entrance.

Life is busy and time seems to keep going faster and faster. Despite the inevitable frustrating moments that occur with three busy boys, life is so good! If I don't post again before the baby comes, I will for sure post when that takes place! :)

Exciting News!

I figured it's about time that I finally make a post announcing that... I'M PREGNANT! Baby #4 (can you believe that?!) is on it's way, due the middle of March. We are so excited about having this new addition. We really can't wait to find out if we're going to have another boy or if the trend will be broken and we'll have a girl. I've always wanted one of each, but at this point it would be cheaper to have another boy since I have SO MANY boy things.

The pregnancy is going well, I feel basically the same as I have will all of my other pregnancies. With Owen still not walking yet, it is tiring having to hold him so often. Oh well. Here is a picture of the baby from an ultrasound that I had at 13 weeks.

My baby is ONE!

This week Owen turned 1 year old! I cannot believe it's already been a year. Time flies by so fast and seems to keep going faster and faster. Owen is such a busy little boy. He finally learned to crawl a few weeks ago and is now all over the house. He is also now pulling up on everything, and just learned how to climb the stairs (yikes!).

He had a fun birthday. We invited Grandma and Grandpa Wooters over for presents, dinner, and cake. We all had a great time. Here are some pictures of my big boy.

Kindergarten

Today was Josh's first day of Kindergarten!!!! He has been so excited for school to start. It's made everything easier knowing that he definitely is ready to start school.

Josh is attending a brand new school that just opened. It is HUGE and really nice. It was a lot of fun to get to check it all out at Meet the Teacher last Friday. Josh's teacher seems really nice and he already knows someone in his class from church.

The day was a success! He did great this morning and was happy when I picked him up this afternoon. It will be exciting to see him learn and grow this next year. Here are some pictures taken this morning.

Class of 2010

Like always, I know it's been forever since I last posted. As a follow up about my last post about our garden, we are now enjoying our harvest. We've been eating green beans for the past week or two, have had one zucchini, and I picked our first two tomatoes today. They have all been delicious!

Back to the subject of this post... yesterday was Josh's last day of preschool, complete with a graduation ceremony. It was so cute! I can't believe he is already done with preschool. He is looking forward to kindergarten and I know he will do great. He did so well this past year in school. He learned a ton, made friends, and enjoyed himself every day he went. It has been a really positive experience for him, which I am very grateful for. Here are a few pictures of the big day.
