Help with Visual Basics
Hi~
I know this question will probably be very simple and basic but I have been STRUGGLING with this problem for hours now. I am brand new to VB and have to learn it for a class I am taking. I have to create a form that allows a user to add numbers to a list, and the click on a command button to generate the standard deviation of the numbers in the list. I cannot figure out what formula to use for the standard deviation to come out correctly.
Also, I want to make it so that users can only enter numbers, (-) and (.) into the text box to go into the list. Anything else I want to have erased. Would this be an If....Then command? I can't get either of these two portions of the code to work and it is making me crazy!!
I have the files I can send if someone would be willing to take a look at them.
