These started out as monthly reports, right? Oops. Let's see how I'll do this year.

On the AO3 posting front, I'm at January 2009. I'm at 346 (up from 333) works now, which means I've added 13 fics since the last report. In addition to fics that I'd already posted before, I posted Weird, Heart over Head, Dog Tags, and Reading Glasses.

I've managed to write every day in 2016 even if it was only an alibi sentence of three words. My total for the year was 403165, which sounds and is a lot, but recording the D&D adventures is an easy but not as satisfying way to get words out, so my plan for 2017 is to write more normal stories and also to post some of the growing backlog.

Ah, it's been a while. I have been writing, though it's writing down the exploits of my band of adventurers as I solo Dungeons and Dragons. Of course, John and Rodney are among them.

On the AO3 posting front, I'm still at December 2008. I'm at 333 works now, which means I've added three things since the last report. In addition to the art and fic mentioned above, I posted Un-unhappy, a story that I really love about John and Rodney having grown old together, but not together—yet.

As you can see from the word count, I've smashed my yearly goal. I also managed to write every day (though on some days less than 100 words) and will continue to try to keep that up.

I hope everyone had a great start to the new year. I've reached my writing goal on December 30th and finished the year with 200268 words total.

On the AO3 posting front, I'm still at December 2008. I'm at 330 works now, which means I've added two stories since the last report. In addition to the one mentioned above, I posted Bar Acquaintance.

I've signed up for 150k for the year. I really don't want to fall behind this year, and ideally I'd write every day even if I'm ahead. Even "any word count is okay" days add to the total and more often than not it goes significantly over the goal, which would be 298 words each (non-November) day, and is already down to 295 ;)

I also have generated quite a backlog of fic, so it should be possible for me to post a new fic every week. We'll see how that works out.

It's only been three months since the last report and not four so I guess that's progress? Kidding aside, I managed to catch up since my last report by writing over 100k words in the last three months!

On the AO3 posting front, I'm now at December 2008. I'm at 328 works now, which means I've added eleven stories since the last report. In addition to the ones mentioned above, I posted nine previously posted stories (7 John/Rodney, 1 Joe/David, 1 Amelia Banks/Anne Teldy).

For the rest of the year, I'll finish my 200k word goal. For next year I'll definitely go back to 150k. And I hope to post some of the unposted stories (and continue reposting to AO3 so that everything is available there eventually).

On the AO3 posting front, I'm at October 2008. I'm at 309 works now, which means I've added eight stories since the last report. The rest were reposts of older stories.

The plan for May is to get back into writing more regularly and to find beta readers for my Extreme Big Bang stories, especially the longer ones: the teen AU, the sentinel/guide AU, and the medieval adventure.

On the AO3 posting front, I'm still at July 2008. I'm at 275 (253) works now, which means I've added twenty-two stories since the last report. Most were newly posted (but previously written) stories for the 10 year anniversary of SGA. In addition to the above mentioned, I also finally posted my Extreme Big Bang story Protector.

I just saw that SGA Santa is running for the last time this year. I have conflicting feelings about this. On the one hand this will be my last chance to participate and I'd like to support SGA related fests (especially since we've lost many over the years), on the other hand, writing for someone always makes me stress about what they'd like and that they might not like it (and also stressing about giving feedback for my gift; I think a gift deserves some detailed feedback and sometimes I have a hard time with coming up with that). At the moment I'm tending towards not doing it.

Happy Birthday, popkin16! I hope you had a great day and that the future is full of positive surprises :)

Speaking of positive surprises: EA has made the complete Sims 2 collection available for free for a week via Origin. Code and how to redeem it can be found here.

Things are going reasonably well:

On the AO3 posting front, I've finally moved on to December 2007 (for the McShep and Hewligan stuff; I'm further behind on Joe/David). I'm at 202 works now, which means I've added eleven stories since the last report. One of these was new(ly posted; though written in 2012). The new fic I posted was Ancient Match Making (McShep, PG).

If you're wondering why I didn't mention my Extreme Big Bang story, it's because I didn't work on it /o\. But I plan to finish during my vacation this month.

In other news: The Blender Foundation is running a crowdfunding campaign for Project Gooseberry. Blender is an Open Source 3D program, and it's one of my dreams to one day create a short little animated scene of McShep with it. Project Gooseberry will help fund further improvements on Blender (and create an animated full-length feature film). You can check out the pitch or learn more here.

Things are still going quite well:

On the AO3 posting front, I'm still at November 2007 (for the McShep and Hewligan stuff; I'm further behind on Joe/David). I'm at 191 works now, which means I've added fifteen stories since the last report. Three of these were new. In addition to the above mentioned Porn Batte fics, I posted Like Fine Wine (McShep, PG).

The Don't Break The Chain method is still working quite well for me. I wrote every day until February 19th when I did something for work that I really wanted to finish before the latest release of our software. Since the chain was broken, I'm giving myself a few days without writing to concentrate on finishing my SGA Reverse Bang art.

I still need to finish my Extreme Big Bang story, so that'll be priority one after finishing the Reverse Bang art.

On a personal note, today is my 10-year anniversary at the company I work. It's amazing how fast the years go by.
