- Go-Toubun no Hanayome - COMPLETE [harem, shounen, school life, romance, comedy]
- Omoi, Omoware, Furi, Furare - COMPLETE (I dislike school romace... So why? Well, the illustrations were seriously cute.)
- Mahoutsukai no Yome ch.95 [supernatural, romance, fantasy, magic, shonen, drama, slice of life]
- Sabaku no Harem - COMPLETE (marysue parts to be skipped but kink checklist makes up....it's like reading my old fanfics haha. ^^;)
- D.Gray Man - ch. 241 [supernatural, action, comedy, adventure, demons, fantasy, shonen, drama, super power]
- Online: The Comic - ch.121 (nice plot, intelligent girl main character, why isn't this more popular??)
- The Promised Neverland - COMPLETE (Orphanage fantasy adventure, action, horror, plus I ship the 3 main characters and NARUTO is over, so I need a new team7 triangle. T__T There, I said it. )
- Platinum End - COMPLETE (Death Note author giving a reverse plot, humans getting angelic powers)
- Even if you don't do it - seinen/romance (32-year-old woman, married. Her relationship with her husband isn’t bad. Just one thing is lacking: sex. One night, when she’s having drinks with her 36-year-old coworker, she finally opens up and shares her worries about the lack of intimacy in her life. He reacts with a surprised face and says, while laughing somewhat lonely, “I’m not having much luck with that either.” Relationships are not easy. God, that hit home. I depend on learning what happens to the characters, I'm too invested.)
- My Home Hero - COMPLETE (middle-aged writer commits a self-defence murder in order to protect his family and from that point onwards hell begins...Action, suspence, reminds me of Death Note with twists and a solid plot.)
- Begin with your name - ch.300 (Yuri. Comedy/Romance. Humour elevates this series into a little gem. The series was interrupted because in China they don't allow yuri. Both the author and the viewers are deeply disappointed by this. Recents chapters are merely illustrations.)
- Noragami - ch.180 (I ended up owning the first two volumes. I wasn't a fan at first, I became obsessed with it much later.)
NEW FAVOURITES (Updated 2023)
- Me, My Husband & My Husband's Boyfriend ch.34 (Ongoing. Threesome but not in a sexual way, more like, as a way of life / living together. The author explores the dynamics of such a complex relationship: how it starts, what challenges it faces on a daily basis (jealousy, but thankfully without drama, more like a sense of "I'm not enough to turn him on or handle him, he does love me but needs the other one, too" and "they have ther moments without me, I feel a bit left out, but then I have moments with each of them too, we'll try to make it work for us bcs we care for each other"). It all starts when the husband realises he's gay, though he feels deep affection for his wife. And the person he falls for is... (unrealistic plot warning *drum roll* BECAUSE WHAT ARE THE CHANCES) also in love with his (the gay husband's) wife! (Not that bi people are polyamorous or always love 2 people in general, that's a terrible misconception, it's just this particular one happens to do so.)
We grew as writers, we daydreamed a lot, we challenged ourselves, we made online friends and most of all, we didn't feel alone in our delicate years where we left home. We had others like us, somewhere on the other side of the planet who cheered on the same pair, who felt the same need to express p0rn or cuteness amongst understanding hormones and seeking to meet a real life partner.
I bet that sense of community is hard to find elsewhere.
I cherish it. We are still here, just more worn out from corrupted politics where bad people are in power, exhausting us and hurting others. We are still here. This journal is part of us, it has belonged to us as much as we have belonged to it. How lucky we are to have been members.
My wish is for all of us to fix this mess and write a better story.

Consistency is a sign of mastery
Well, to my amazement, they were more creative and enthusiastic than I remembered. How did I manage to jot down so many ideas when I was a university student? I was worried that they would sound childish now but unexpectedly they made me excited. It would be impossible for my now rusty, realistic mind to create new worlds like that, I think I lost the ability to easily pour libido on a page (the vast majority were lemon -with plot- afterall). But the stories that grew in my mind, nurtured with ideas, and how fond the characters were to me back then... it made me want to resume writing again. Who knows. They may come out as more mature now, but they won't stop amazing me. I'm only writing for myself, but if someone else enjoys them, why not publish.

Salt and Water, a 1998 Italian pop song performed by Adriano Celentano and Mina.
( LyricsCollapse )SONG MEANING
In this song we witness the alternation of the thoughts of a woman and a man on their mutual relationship. Their relationship seems to be rather stormy however, the two cannot separate. The "she" of the song has indeed a bad opinion about men ("simple and a little banal / I would say almost predictable and always the same / all men and love are made like this"). The disillusionment with the nature of men is a theme that often recurs in Mina's songs. Men, for their part, are aware of being labeled in various ways ("as you see so many adjectives / that stick to us / we are not so bad"), and it is the voice of Mina which tells us so, as if wanting to mimic them.
Then comes Celentano's turn who, aloud, reflects on the charm she exerts on him ("you're not bad") because she knows how to distinguish herself from other women by speaking well, intelligently, without clichés, and for the resourcefulness she shows in trying to go beyond her own limits and, sometimes, trying to look better than how she is.
The metaphor of pulling the bike from the rigged engine is in fact a way of describing this dynamic: pulling a bike involves pushing the engine to its maximum potential, which, if enhanced, can perform at its best; but this also means that a particular noise will be emitted and therefore, the trick will be implicitly revealed. Similarly, he notices her attempts to get his attention, but he doesn't mind. That's why he grants her «it's okay, you drive/ you are better than me» while, on the inside, he hopes that she will fall in love with him («and I expect it to be love»). The fact that she is driving, especially considering it's a motorcycle therefore a symbol of strength and dominance, puts him in a condition of inferiority and emotional insecurity.
She, following the trail of her previous reflections, as if wanting to respond to her man's hopes, realizes that she cannot do without him despite all his faults ("but I am with you every day / because I need you").The two voices meet in the chorus, in which they resent the other for forcing them to drink water and salt - thus despite the love, they put each other in distressing situations of emotional instability. It seems that both (depending on the speaker) enjoy hurting the other person, although then, they metaphorically hold the glass with a blow just when the other is about to drink too many sips of the disgusting drink - in short, it is a continuous push and pull of suffering and comfort.
The relationship tendency to lead to emotional stress is supported by the lines "you hurt me, you can enjoy / if you see me in a corner hours and hours". These hours are "hours as full as a lake / that if it rains a little less it's a pond", a metaphor indicating that even if the continuous teasing diminished, this would not be enough to make the situation more serene, because the "lake" would remain a "pond" - that is to say, it would only slightly decrease its volume (or, in the case of relationship stress, its intensity) but would not dry up. In short, in the end, it's always one of the two to pay all the penalties, thinking that they are the only one to suffer.
The last verse, sung by him, could be interpreted with the two having perhaps embarked on a purely physical relationship ("see, having fun is good"), and although he doesn't mind ("I feel that I laugh inside and this does not it suit me »), it sometimes makes him uncomfortable, rather desiring something more serious (« there is something wrong but I can't tell you what »). But since she is the one to lead the relationship, he has little room for decision ("is it your bike that is down / I would like to drive") and he can only hope to approach her at a more emotional level (" or better to have you near me »).

E scenderà/ And she'll descend
giù per la collina / down from the hill
da nuove città. / from new cities.
Stai qui con me / Stay here with me
stanotte piove /tonight it's raining
e piove su noi /it's raining upon us
che non c’incontriamo mai… /who never meet each other...
Lei verrà / She will come
ma d’estate /[not now, but] in the summer
lei verrà / she will come
perché io aspetto già / because I'm already waiting
e scenderà / and she'll descend
forse di mattina / maybe in the morning
dal fiume che va… / from the flowing river...
Per noi avrò / For us, I'll have
strane parole / awkward words
quelle che non riesco a dire mai/ those words I never manage to say
parole di cui ti vergogni /words you're shy [embarrassed] about

But to Naples and Rome we actually went on a school trip back in high school. It was awesome. :)
Haha, I'd love to but…
This could be pretty much my own list of New Year's resolutions. ^^;
Naples and Rome are both very beautiful. I'd love to go again. :)
