This electronic verification process complies with Law Society of Ontario's By-Law 7.1, Client Identification and Verification Requirements. Starting on January 1 2024, it becomes mandatory for lawyers and paralegals to conduct these verifications for virtual clients and those for whom monies in trust are collected and held.
