^PLAYGROUND

A sidetrack trip into the paper scraps playground (instead of working on the piece proper, which shows through the mess, but shh!). Assembled and disassembled on that evening, but photographed, and eventually arranged into a digital piece. Sometimes art just happens, although it hasn’t happened to me for a long time – this time the motto was don’t think too much – just follow, and what’s the most important, the step onto a new ground has been made. It wasn’t pre-planned, it wasn’t even intended, so it’s far from full consistency – it’s more of a point of departure for a more complex and entirely conceptual piece, but it was also fun – and I had managed to forget how refreshing the fun in creating can be.
