Our Task
Reimagining ClubDevo.com meant creating a website as daring and unconventional as DEVO itself. We designed an experience that reflects the band’s pioneering spirit—melding their iconic visual language with a modern, streamlined interface. From their groundbreaking discography to their unmistakable aesthetic, every element was thoughtfully considered to create a site that feels unmistakably DEVO.
We set out to create a site for today’s web users—fast, intuitive, and mobile-friendly—while staying deeply rooted in what makes DEVO so singular. In a digital era shaped by AI and endless content, we challenged ourselves to capture the timeless spirit of de-evolution while experimenting with modern techniques.
We incorporated AI as a creative tool, using it to reinterpret some of DEVO’s most iconic imagery and explore the provocative question: “What is DEVO? Who is DEVO?” The tension between identity, technology, and individuality—a theme at the heart of DEVO’s work—was subtly threaded throughout the experience.
The Result
