Washington DECA’s Community Partner of the Year: Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation
Empowering students to fight childhood cancer
Our Partnership
We are proud to partner with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) for our statewide community service campaign this year.
Together, we’re empowering student leaders to make a real difference in the fight against childhood cancer—one cup of lemonade at a time. Throughout the year, WA DECA chapters will have opportunities to host events, raise funds, and spread awareness about ALSF’s mission to support families and fund critical research.
Whether it’s hosting a lemonade stand at your school, in your SBE, organizing a community event, or sharing the cause online, every effort brings us one step closer to finding a cure.
Fundraising Tip: Utilize your school’s student store or sporting events to sell lemonade or raise money!

About Alex's Lemonade Stand
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation began with one small stand and one big dream.
At just four years old, Alexandra “Alex” Scott set up her first lemonade stand to help doctors find a cure for children with cancer—like herself. Her inspiring mission grew into a nationwide movement, raising more than $250 million to fund research, support families, and bring hope to countless kids.
Today, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation continues her legacy, proving that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a huge impact. Learn more about their story at AlexsLemonade.org.
