Easter, Train and the beach!

 

The last few weeks have been so fun.  We had Easter with the family, went on a train ride, went to the beach and started our garden.  Not too shabby!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Spring Break

 

Since I had spring break last week and the girls have it this week we are having a "staycation".  We flew kites, played school, and went to the mall and bought shoes, ate lunch and played.  It's been fun and care free!

Alexa's 7th birthday party

Lexie's birthday is the 18th, the day after St. Patrick's day.  When I started asking a few months ago what she would like to do for her birthday party she said......"isn't it obvious?  A St Patrick's day party!!!"  So that's what we did.  Lots of rainbows and a few Pot of Golds, it was super fun!!!

Making bookmarks

We are so blessed to have so many wonderful friends.  Her whole elementary class is amazing and our church friends are the best!!  We are happy to be where we are and are super excited to watch these cuties grow up together!!!!!!

Alexa is 7

It's so amazing how quickly time flies.  I mean I know everyone says it, but it's true!!!!  Our Alexa turned 7 this month.  What a blessing she is in our lives.  She is caring, sensitive, honest, trustworthy and a loving sister and daughter.  She unfortunately was sick on her birthday.  She got a nasty virus that looked a lot like strep throat, but wasn't.  1 1/2 weeks, it was tough!!!  This is her on her actual birthday.....not feeling so well!

Once she felt better we went to one of her favorites, Red Lobster.

A couple weeks earlier she chose Hula's for a special meal because her report card was fabulous!!

Family

February was amazing.  Alex and I took a weekend off from life, left the kids with a friend and headed to Reno.  (minus the smoke it's a fun place to play!!)  We did a ton of eating and found some hidden treasures!!

 

The girls and I went to Disney on ice with the Hanchetts.

 

Lexie loves roller skating.  she is really wanting lessons that we are going to start next week.  Watch out, you might see her on the circuit!
