Over multiple cycles, he set selection standards and sat in the debriefs that decide who advances. “Coach K.” was the Head of Campus Recruiting for UBS, and subsequently also served as the Head of Professional Development for BMO Capital Markets. At BMO, she developed the early career development plan for all Investment & Corporate Banking analysts and associates, and coached and mentored the A&A.

Before her life as a recruiter, she also spent 15 years in sales and trading at top firms like Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Soundview Technology group, and American Technology Research (a technology S&T research firm that she helped found, and which was ultimately acquired). Coach K. has also worked at Jane Street, where she was the program manager for the firm’s rotational development program.

Gordon is a seasoned investment banker and corporate development professional with over 12 years of experience. He started his career at Deutsche Bank and worked across the FIG, technology, and M&A groups. He later worked for Goldman Sachs’ TMT group and was promoted to vice president there. Since leaving investment banking, he’s worked in senior corporate development roles at companies including Paylocity, isolved, and Paychex. During his time in investment banking, he worked on over 25 transactions totaling more then $150 billion dollars in cumulative value.

Raul brings 25 years of diverse institutional Wall Street experience to WSMM. He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer for First Team Capital, a Long/Short Equity Hedge Fund and has spent the last decade as a portfolio manager at multi-strategy hedge fund platforms Eastmore Group and Walleye Capital. Prior to his buyside tenure, Raul spent 14 years in Asia in high-profile managerial roles at leading global investment banks where he was actively involved in recruiting, hiring and mentoring programs, including Managing Director, Head of Asia Semiconductor and Hardware Research at Cantor Fitzgerald, Managing Director Head of Asia Pacific Product Management at Jefferies, and the Head of Pan Asian Technology Sales at Morgan Stanley. He has served as the head of the Michigan recruiting team for Morgan Stanely’s equity sales and trading group, the recruiting representative for NSHMBA (National Society for Hispanic MBAs), and is a CFA Charterholder.

Kathy is a former Managing Director/Senior Vice President on the Real Estate Loan Syndications Origination and Structuring team within Debt Capital Markets at PNC. With over 20 years’ experience in real estate and finance, Kathy managed PNC’s syndication efforts supporting both the eastern and western regions of PNC’s footprint. In this capacity, Kathy was responsible for the origination, structuring, and distribution of syndicated financing solutions for construction loans, term loans, revolving lines of credit, and subscription lines supporting both public and private clients. In 2017, Kathy was also named the head of the Investment Banking Analyst Development program for the Debt Capital Markets team at PNC. In this role, Kathy was directly responsible for the recruiting, training, and mentoring/coaching of a team of analysts during their progression through the three-year rotational program. As direct manager, Kathy was hands-on with each analyst in setting and monitoring developmental milestones as well as ensuring that the necessary soft skills to succeed in the industry were being mastered. Kathy also led the summer intern program which included campus recruiting and intern management as well as developing the content for the summer experience.
