Washington APEX Accelerator Programs and Trainings

Washington APEX Accelerator partners with federal, state, and local entities to provide an extensive array of services to Washington State contractors and entrepreneurs.

Our current partnerships and programs include:

• Digging Into Public Works – provides quality training & technical assistance for construction contractors in Washington State, including a series of virtual trainings for public works contractors. Brought to you by Washington APEX Accelerator and MRSC.  
• Preparing to Bid Series – This workshop series, “Preparing to Bid,” will focus on all things you need to know about preparing your business to bid on specific solicitations. This workshop is brought to you by the government contracting advisors at the non-profit APEX Accelerator in collaboration with DES Diverse Business Support Program.  In the session, participants will dissect the solicitation using take-home tools including a pre-bid checklist and bid/no-bid decision matrix which can be customized their unique needs.

• IBR Series – Preparing for Public Projects with The Interstate Bridge – This workshop series, “Preparing for Public Projects with The Interstate Bridge” and will focus on all things you need to know about preparing for your business’ taxes, specifically with government contracting.

• Local Government Purchasing Opportunities Through MRSC Rosters – Join your friendly advisors at Washington APEX Accelerator and MRSC Rosters for a one-hour interactive session all about local government purchasing.  Designed for firms looking for more public sector contracts with local government agencies.  This session will explore how local government agencies find businesses to buy from and how they use the Rosters to purchase public works, consultant, and goods and services which include maintenance services.  We will share tips to ensure you are seen by government agencies and will leave plenty of time to address your questions.

• Port of Seattle – Advanced PortGen – Advanced PortGen 2025 is a training series designed for small, minority, and women-owned businesses wanting to learn how to be successful with government contracting. Each webinar focuses on topics important to Port of Seattle vendors. Sessions are led by industry experts and valuable resource partners.
