Halloween

We started our festivities this year with meeting the Webbs at Pumpkin Land for our annual visit and then dinner after. 

Carter and Trey had their first piano recital and did awesome. We were so proud of them. They have only been in lessons for 2 months.



We decided to go all Star Wars this year and won the ward costume party. Cody and I also went to the infamous Rothfel Halloween party. 

For FHE before Halloween we carved pumpkins with the family. 

The boys' school only allows certain costumes that come from classical books. Obviously, the Star Wars theme did not work so I was a mean mom and made them wear their same costume as last year. They'll always be my Thing 1 and Thing 2. 

To close Halloween we went trick or treating at Cody's work and then went to the Webb Family Halloween party. 

Sister from another mother

 My longest childhood friend, Marissa, came to visit us for the weekend. It was so fun to catch up and hang out. She got to experience my crazy chaos of a life and the kids loved her. She was so sweet and brought them books and then read to them. Jaid immediately attached herself to Marissa. We had a fun weekend of eating way too much food, visited Temple Square, went shopping at City Creek, and Marissa and I went on a date just us to dinner and a movie. We can't wait until she visits again. Maybe one day we can get the whole family down to AZ to visit the Goodings. 

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

We celebrated Callie turning 1 with family and friends with a dessert party. I like to throw a big 1st bday party and I had so much fun planning and throwing Callie a party. It was so fun to make her cake and all the treats (except the macarons). Callie is the sweetest little thing and we just love her. She loved eating her cake and was so sad when we took it away. We just love our Callie Girl. Happy Birthday to our Baby Girl!
