webdesign and webdev)While I was playing around with the design of what is to be my portfolio site on paper I came across an interesting question as to what "web developer" actually meant, both to people who work in the field and people outside the field. Is a web developer an artist, a programmer, both, or something else? I've always considered a web developer to be someone skilled in both design and the more technical "programming" side, but something about writing the "above the fold" part of the home page made me stop and think about this.
I've created a poll about this and I'd really appreciate if you could just spare a few minutes of your time to complete it and put me out of my misery so I can get back to work on the site :)
