I am too stressed to look it up myself, but I was wondering if anyone here knows how to set Dreamweaver so that it STOPS RESTRUCTURING MY CODE WHEN I APPLY A STYLE
You know that bug in windows IE where if you have an ordered list, it adds space under each [li][/li] set unless you bump the next [li] onto the previous line?
well, I'm trying to apply styles in Dreamweaver and it keeps 'fixing' my code so that [li]'s are on new lines... which is royally pissing me off.
any help?
(yes, I could just code everything by hand and it wouldn't be an issue but then why bother with dreamweaver at all)
oh, and (could someone please explain) in quickie laymans overview of how to put 'components' or templates-within-templates in Dreamweaver. Their help docs aren't very conducive to answering questions.
