Guinea Pigs (Alpha Testers) Wanted

We're about to launch a new site, and I'd like to test it on a few volunteers today.

All you will need to do is to place some JavaScript on your site. The idea here is to give the service some minor exercise but the largest qualification is that you must be willing to take the code down, make a given change, whatever, within reasonable notice.

The other qualification is that I'd like to keep this (relatively) quiet during the brief (1-2 day) testing period. Having launched Freedback.com, I am very familiar with the concept of distributed HTML, and of not being able to stuff the genie back into the bottle once it's released. (That's actually a very good thing, btw!) So, if anything goes awry, I need to be able to reach all testers quickly without worrying about "others" who may not be willing to make changes.

The other thing is that you gotta be willing to do it for free for now. I'm willing to pay if everything works out, but it's better to have zero expectations in case something collapses.

OK, so, who has a website and wants to help out?

Go to http://LeadFactory.com/pub/?lj_webdev and sign up. You will then be assigned a publisher ID (LAB####) and given some JavaScript. The JS that is automatically given to you is not what we are testing. Please then email me (david at note dot com) with the word "alpha" and your new publisher id in the subject line, and I will email you the JavaScript that I'd like you to test.

Thank you!!
