Hey Guys,
Someone came across a piece of code I wrote on my website (A writing sample analyzer) and was hoping to use it for a cause I whole heartedly support: adult literacy. I've volunteered to do a little work on the code first to clean it up a tad.
I would like the code to be unmodified, and to have my name attached to it. But, since it's php I can't just hand them the binary. I would also prefer the code not be redistributed. Would this be the kind of thing I would want a contract for? It feels kind of slimy asking for a contract after I've agreed to do the work.
What would you do in this case?
