Is anyone familiar with nms Formmail (from http://www.scriptarchive.com/)? This is the cgi/perl script provided by Network Solutions (my client's webhost) used for sending form results to email. I am wondering if it is possible to use the script to simultaneously to send the form results to both an email and insert them into a database? The script is over 3000 lines long, and I don't have much experience with Perl, so I'm wondering if it is worth trying to manipulate the code if it isn't even possible in the first place.

Otherwise, can anyone suggest a solution to submit form results to both a database and an email simultaneouly (or otherwise do it smoothly in the background)? I have prior experience with ASP, but from what I've researched, it isn't very easy/smooth.
