Hello, Webdev people. :]

I'm very new web development. I recently got Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, and I have been teaching myself the basics of HTML and CSS. You see, I want to make sort a website as sort of a portfolio for my comicbook work, but I have very specific, picky guidelines for how it must look and work.

I've been looking at other websites with the same theme for ideas; I noticed a lot of them have a sort of template (?) that allows their navigation bars to stay on each page, and when you look at their galleries, the page stays the same around the selected pieces, and even the web adress stays the same. I want to do that with my website. How is this done?

Does that make any sense at all? I'm apologize for my ignorance, I'm still learning. Here's an example site if my question is understandibly incomprehencible. ;p Minchi

Any help is greatly apreciated.
