Hello,

I'm building a web-site and have come across the common issue of PNG files not displaying properly in IE and netscape.

I know there is a patch on IE coming soon but for various reasons I wanted to fix this now.

I have got the PNGs to display properly in IE now, however it has been at the cost of the rollover effect you can see in firefox (they turn a lighter colour) and the unsightly area around the razors still flashes up when a page loads.

The second issue is the top and bottom bars are intended to be semi transparent, so that the background shows through on certain pages. The bar is shown at full opacity in IE and Netscape. The properties of these bars are outlined in the CSS.

(I'm a beginner with javascript.)

If anyone could advise me on how to fix these issues I would be very grateful.
