Rollover Help

Hi there. I have an image (image A) that I want to trigger a rollover in another area which I know how to do but not without having a link for image A. Is there a way to do this without the link? I know I can put "#" in the href tag for the link which works but then the mouse cursor still changes when you hover over it. Anyway around this?
