CSS imagemap

Okay, I have been searching for a while now, but i've got a wordpress blog, and i've created a background that I intended using with an imagemap, this can be seen at http://wishwishwish.net
I can't work out how I can put an imagemap in though, the background is defined on the CSS page.

is there a way I can create an imagemap on the css page?

how would i go about doing this? I've never worked with just css and php before and im not confident at editing wordpress themes/templates so i dont think i've explained in the best way..

any help is appreciated!
