Yahoo product search XML feed help needed!
Afternoon all!
Is there anyone who has experience of using Yahoo Product Search? My knowledge of XML is very basic at the moment, and I am struggling to work out how to format the XML that Yahoo fires back to me.
My test page is set up at:
http://www.i-designweb.com/test1.php
So far, you can enter a product to search for in the form field (such as 'ipod' or 'laptop' for example), and it runs off to Yahoo and grabs all the data. But the results are all held in a variable and all i really know to do with it is to echo it to the screen :( (using echo htmlspecialchars($xml); in the code)
How do i get the browser to display the data in a document tree style? and mroe importantly, how do i then format it all so that each product clearly shows the image and description text with links etc? It's all just a little out of reach for my skillset heh.
Any and all help would be most appreciated! Please?
