photoshop vs fireworks (x posted)

Photoshop seems to have more modes (overlay, screen, luminosity, color) than fireworks MX. Does anyone know how to create Photoshop's "overlay" mode in Fireworks? I have been using Firework's "screen" mode as a substitute, but I am not sure if it does the same thing.
