A Community for web developers. Any and all posts related to web development are welcome. There is a slight stress on coding/development related posts rather than design/art.

Topics Web-host discussions: The good and the bad Not-recommended web hosts: HOSTONY (Lots of features, but they often don't work, the tech support is crap, and they have sometimes broken things by making stupid changes on their servers. Also, 1and1 host is not recommended.
Recommended Tools of the Trade This is a collection of software that has proved useful to me either directly or indirectly with web development. Wherever possible I'll provide open source alternatives to commercial products. If you know of a program that's better than the one on the list, feel free to let me (valera) know about it so that I may put it up here.

A note about Software Piracy/Warez Software Piracy is illegal, we all know this. Yet for various reasons (e.g. "i don't care, i just want free soft" or "information should be free! it's not like i'm stealing anything anyway, just making a copy!") many of us choose to practice it. That said - please don't post any cracks, serial numbers, or links to suchin the community.
