Brock's First Christmas

So I am extremely behind in posting...life has been busy with Tim and I back to work.
So Sorry!
But I figured I should get something up.
There will be plenty more Christmas pictures to post, but this is a little taste of the holidays.
We were excited to host Christmas Eve at our house this year. Tim was fortunate enough
(just worked out)
to be home for 3 days over Christmas.
I think that Brock got a little spoiled! Even by his parents. ;)
Then on Christmas Day, we joined my mom's side of the family out at her place.
It was wonderful!
Happy Holidays.

Image Brock has begun to drool!
This Bib doesn't quite say it...he is an honor student.
The books say it is because he does not quite have control of his lips yet, so everything just comes right out.
And boy does it.

ImageHowdy Partner.

Image A friend from work let me borrow her Bumbo.
Brock loves it because it supports him just so and now he can sit and watch us interact without always being held.
Look mom, No Hands.

ImageI got this sled from my Grandma Bernice (Brock's Great Grandma Bernice) way back. It was to put porcelain dolls in.
It was the perfect size for Brock this year.
I think he found it quite comical too!

ImageGrandma Micki, got Brock a Merry Christmas Bear.
Just a little bigger than Brock.
Boy this kid grows fast!

It seems to have been a while since our last post.
We have all gone back to work for the last two weeks. It has been harder than I expected.
Below are some pictures that explain.

Off to work we go...

Hi ho, Hi ho, it's off to work we go....
Well we are back to work, so post will most likely only be coming once a week now.
The most that I can say is that at times it feels like I am a single working parent...exhausted.
But it will just take us all some time to adjust.
Below are some pictures of Brock.
He is now 3 months old...he is growing up way too fast!

ImageLook mom, I can hold my head up really well!

ImageWhat are you doing in there??

Image Humm...you sure look funny for my sister.

The rush

Yesterday I dusted off my old running shoes.
I felt the cold air on my cheeks,
the burn in my lungs,
and the pounding of my heart.
It has been over a year since I put on my running shoes,
and it felt WONDERFUL!

Image Champers is finally settling in after visiting the vet and getting put on antibiotics.
The vet said she has a Bacterial Infection in her intestine.
She couldn't keep anything down for 36 hours or so... poor pup.
She is all better now and is tuckered out from watching everyone cook.
Tomorrow will be even better!

Tuckered Out

Our little guy had so much fun at the Aquarium that he fell asleep by the fire without being swaddled.
That is a first!
I love this guy.

Image

Aquarium

Today we all went to the Aquarium here in South Jordan, Utah.
Brock loved the lights for the first 5 minutes and then was fast asleep.
But I loved to see the sights.

Image We found Nemo!

Image They had gorgeous fish to look at. It was beautiful!

Image
They even had an area to touch sting rays.
They had taken the sting out of the rays...of course.

This is a picture of live jelly fish. What a great picture, hu?!!

ImageThey had a movie going on a boat that was informational.
Here is Abby and Gracie on the boat.

Thanksgiving Travel...

Thanksgiving travel...
We made it to Salt Lake City.
All the weather behind us.
We stayed in a hotel at Pocatello that allowed Champ to join us. It was a wonderful stay except for the people that were outside our door and Champ wanted to rip into them.
Wish we could have let her.
Brock did very well on the drive over.
As long as we are on his schedule, things went great!
You don't get anywhere fast with this little guy.
Brock is very intrigued by all the new faces and voices here in Utah!
He met his second cousin Lillian.
This is the first time Brock has ever seen someone his size.
He was in awe.

Image Brock and Lillian.

ImageBrock has his dukes up. He is ready just in case.
He is used to being the only little one around, not sure if he wants to give that up.

Image Champ and Tater.
Way to behave.
Now Champ isn't feeling very good...what could that dog have eaten?
Hopefully the vet will find out.
Can't seem to stay away from the doctors!

More family to come in tomorrow.
Let the festivities begin!
