Updates

Life has gotten busy. Between doctor appointments, parks, play dates, and catching up with old friends, we have been on the go. But we are having some fun doing it!

Saying good bye

It is always hard to say good bye to someone we love. But as we look back we can be thankful for the the times we did have together and the relationships that we built. Grandpa, you will forever be missed, but thank you for all the wonderful memories and for being such a wonderful inspiration to me.

Summer is here

Wow I can't believe it has been so long since my last post. I guess we are soaking up as much sunshine as we can. Between morning runs, weeding flower beds, riding bikes, play dates, we have been busy. Not to mention baseball season is among us and summer is just beginning with trips to lakes and weddings to attend. We can't wait! I love the sun shine!!!! Below are the kids sporting their new sunglasses, while eating a snack and getting ready to get rowdy on the "football bed". (It is actually a rainy day today)

Good morning sunshine

I feel blessed to get to wake up each morning to these to amazing children of ours. They bring such joy to our lives!

Here Ella is eating breakfast number one while Champ sits in the background waiting for anything to be dropped.

The other day Brooklyn came over for a bit. These three are like the three musketeers when they are together. Always running around and getting into mischief!

New mower and warmer weather

The last couple of days we have had snow. It is may 3 rd today. It snowed on April 30th and may 1st. But finally on the 2nd we had some nice weather.

Tim got a new toy. Him and the kids are loving it! I think all the neighbors probably think we are crazy!

Nice weather means that we are outside a whole lot more! Enjoy your day!

Easter past

Okay so I am late, but here is Easter! We were out in Washington this Easter visiting family! It was a great time. Thanks for all the hospitality Craig and Rhonda.

A vortex in our house

It has been about 6 years that we have lived in our home. And of that 6 years we have been living in it vortex free for about 4 years. Now that our kids are growing up a little bit, we have finally taken down our gate to our stairs. It is a strange sight to behold. It feels more open, but also feels like we could be sucked down our stairs at any moment. So far Brock is enjoying his freedom of going up and down the stairs without asking. Ella seems to be learning quickly how to go up and down unattended, but makes me very nervous. Thankfully she does not feel intrigued by it all the time and is interested in play with her dolls too.

We went to the Maui aquarium! It was fantastic getting to see all the marine life while not worrying about predators.

Another first

Tonight Ella asked to go to bed at 7pm! She asked!???? Normally she is tired and a little fussy, but gives a little fight just to let me know its not her idea. Tonight she was fussy and trying to climb on top of me. I asked her if she wanted to go to bed as I sat in our living room rocker and she said "ya" and pointed to her room. So we rocked in her room and 15 minutes later she is out. Hope she gets a good rest.

Spring has sprung

We are at it again. We are outside most of the day. Yep, aping has sprung and me, Tim and the kids spend most of our days riding bikes, playing on the fort, swinging and playing baseball! It is a blast.
