John 3:16:
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.“
My mom once told me, “Only what you do for Christ will last.” I didn’t appreciate this wisdom until years later.
Honest work to earn a living is a good thing. However, in the world, people neglect to work at all for what matters the most: working for our Creator.
Working to earn food for yourself and your family is not the problem. The problem is neglecting to work for God.
This blog is meant to glorify God and advance His kingdom.
Matthew 6:33:
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.“
This blog is solely for God and His purposes. I know that work for God never goes to waste.
John 6:27:
“Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”
May God communicate through me to you and may you be profoundly enriched.
With love,
Elizabeth🤍
More verses to consider:
1 Thessalonians 5:23:
Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corithians 3:10-15:
According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
