On 31-5-2023 at about 8 pm, soon after the police had recorded yours truly’s statement with regards to the alleged criminal defamation based on two articles written by yours truly in HERE and HERE, yours truly had lodged a report against Elizabeth Ken Tzu Ying for lodging a false report, HERE.
On 1-6-2023 yours truly lodged an additional report against Siew Ka Wei’s staff sweeties Elizabeth Ken Tzu Ying aka Elly Ken for lodging a false report for criminal defamation.
Siew Ka Wei & Elizabeth Ken were arrested and detained by MACC on 9-1-2019 for the Speedy Gonzales Geeko scandal.
Siew Ka Wei is the executive chairman of Ancom Bhd and former chairman of Tourism Malaysia. Siew Ka Wei and Elizabeth Ken were arrested and detained by MACC for the scandalous Speedy Gonzales Geeko deal, which involved tax payers fund RM99.693 million. So far both have not been charged yet. Lets hope that MACC will look into the file and re-examine all the evidence and take the necessary actions against Elizabeth Ken and her boss Siew Ka Wei.
Although Siew Ka Wei had been bragging that MACC had cleared him! But up to this date MACC did not make any announcement to that affect. At best, it was Siew Ka Wei’s own imagination that he was cleared of corruption charges for the Geeko speedy Gonzales scandal.
Yours truly had lodged this additional police report under section 182 of the Penal Code which provides:
“… giving false information, with intent to cause a public servant to use his lawful power to the injury of another person … ”
Let’s see what is the police going to do about this report. The very least the police has to do is to record a statement from sweeties Elizabeth Ken!
The Police Report Against Siew Ka Wei’s Staff Sweeties Elizabeth Ken For Making A False Report
Siew Ka Wei’s staff, Elizabeth Ken Tzu Ying aka Elly Ken lodged a report alleging criminal defamation based on two articles posted on my blog, which you can find in HERE and HERE.
However, upon careful reading, one would discern that neither article defames Elizabeth Ken nor anyone else. Instead, they present a narrative, underpinned by documents, information from reliable sources, and include opinions or comments drawn from factual information.
Elizabeth Ken & Siew Ka Wei, who is executive chairman of Ancom Bhd and former Chairman of Tourism Malaysia. Both in the beautiful famous orange jump suits.
It’s noteworthy to recall that both Siew Ka Wei, the executive chairman of Ancom Bhd and then chairman of Tourism Malaysia, and his special staff member, Elizabeth Ken, were arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on 9th January 2019. They were detained for four days due to their involvement in the scandalous Speedy Gonzales Geeko deal with Tourism Malaysia, HERE. The First Payment Of RM11,963,160.00 Was Paid In Lightning Speed by TM To Geeko
After yours truly exposed the scandal in here, it was aborted! But Elizabeth Ken and her partner managed to get Tourism Malaysia to disburse some RM11,963,160.00 as the fist payment! Contract was signed with lightning speed on 4-4-2018 and invoice was issued by Geeko on 23-4-2018 and it was was approved on 27.4.2018!
On 6-5-2018 payment of RM11,963,160.00 was made to Geeko. TM was very efficient when comes to payment to Geeko. Not a bad deal after all.
Tencent Holdings Had Been Used As a Bait To Lure Government Agencies
Interestingly, in both the Speedy Gonzales Geeko deal with Tourism Malaysia and the BXC Travellers Sdn Bhd with Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), the name of the Chinese IT giant, TENCENT HOLDINGS (Tencent), had been used widely as a bait. Geeko and BXC strategically highlighted Tencent to lure the unsuspecting Boards of Tourism Malaysia and MAHB.
It is believed that both Tourism Malaysia and MAHB did not due diligence on the backgrounds of Geeko Tech and BXC Travellers Sdn Bhd, which is insolvent.
Truth & Matters Involving Public Interests
The crux of the matter is this: All articles on my blog aim to promote public interest and ensure public funds are not abused. Our law, specifically sections 499 and 500 of the Penal Code, clearly outlines that it isn’t criminal defamation when the published information is true and/or serves public interest. My blog publications firmly stand within this exception and prioritize public interest.
I hope that sections 499 and 500 will not be abused by the rich and powerful and that the police will not allow itself to be used as a tool to suppress truth or intimidate the rakyat.

It was very strange that many irrelevant questions or out of scope questions were asked on Iskandar Mizal, Siew ka Wei, Emil Rinaldi Sjaiful, the rejection of BXC ‘s proposal by Ministry of Tourism and/or YB Nancy Shukri. None of them complained that they were criminally defamed!
The complainant was Siew Ka Wei’s staff sweeties Elizabeth Ken who alleged that she was criminally defamed but ASP Faaiz was very keen to ask about Iskandar Mizal, Siew Ka Wei, YB Nancy Shukri, who never complained that they were defamed! ! I wonder WHY? It was Very Very Very STRANGE!
Immediately after the recording of statement by IO ASP Faaiz on 30.5.2023, yours truly cannot take this nonsense lying down. Yours truly immediately lodged a police report against Siew Ka Wei‘s staff sweeties Elizabeth Ken for making a false report at Dang Wangi police station. Let’s see whether the police will take the necessary actions on the false report or it is only interested in the investigation of the criminal defamation case! This whole episode is a joke!

Today, I have been summoned by the Cyber Crime Investigation Unit (Unit Siasatan Jenayah Teknologi or USJT), in response to a police report lodged against me by someone. The allegations pertain to criminal defamation under sections 499 and 500 of the Penal Code. As it currently stands, the individual who filed the report did so based on two recent articles. These pieces were published on my blog on the 1st and 3rd of May, 2023, respectively. It took the person some 30 days to report!
The specifics of the allegedly defamatory / offending articles were as follows:
I have consistently upheld transparency in my online activities, particularly in my blog – weechookeong.com. My identity is no secret, as my name and photograph are prominently displayed on the platform, clearly affirming that I am not a faceless blogger! Furthermore, all the facts and supporting documents were posted in the two articles complained of. They were written in plain and simple English for all to read! Yet a few were having problems in grasping it. It is a sad case.
Both Elizabeth Ken & Siew Ka Wei were arrested and detained by MACC on 9 January 2019.
The two blog posts in question involved discussion about four prominent individuals: Iskandar Mizal, the Managing Director of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB); Siew Ka Wei, the former Chairman of Tourism Malaysia and current Executive Chairman of Ancom Bhd and Nylex Bhd, as well as the Managing Director of Redberry Media Group); Elizabeth Ken Tzu Ying, who is a Media Specialist under Siew Ka Wei’s outfit Redberry Media Group, shareholder and key figure in the Geeko Tech Sdn Bhd (Geeko) scandals, and CEO and co-founder of BXC Travellers Sdn Bhd (BXC); and Emil Rinaldi Sjaiful, who is a director and shareholder of Geeko, co-founder of BXC, and majority shareholder of BXC. These four characters is classified as “Gang of 4”.
By coincidence, Emil Rinaldi featured prominently as shareholder in Geeko as well as in BXC.
BXC was an insolvent company as stated by its own auditor Abdul Raji & Co and the said auditor’s report was filed with SSM. Those who doubt the veracity of this fact are free to conduct their own company searches at SSM’s official website. BXC’s company registration number is 201301035082 (1064910-H).
The “Speedy Gonzalez” Geeko Tech Sdn Bhd (GEEKO)
The background of the scandalous ‘Speedy Gonzales Geeko”, in HERE.
In 2018, I unveiled a significant scandal on my blog involving Siew Ka Wei and Elizabeth Ken. This controversy revolved around an extraordinary deal worth RM99.693 million of public funds, using Tencent Holdings as a lure and of course featured prominently in the scandalous deal. The scandal, often referred to as the “Geeko Speedy Gonzales” scandal, was covered extensively in numerous posts on my blog. Key points regarding the scandal are as follows:
• Geeko was a relatively new company, only five months old when it entered into the scandalous RM99.693 million contract with Tourism Malaysia.
• Siew Ka Wei sought to justify Tourism Malaysia’s engagement with Geeko, claiming that Tencent Holdings had specifically picked on Geeko as its Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for this deal, which was laughable. Tencent is Chinese version of Google and Siew Ka Wei was telling Malaysians that Tencent needed scandalous Geeko as its Special Purpose Vehicle! Siew Ka Wei must be out of his mind. Try harder next time.
Glaring dates
On 4.4.2018 agreement signed between TM and Geeko. (The deal was evaluated, negotiated & agreement prepared and signed on 4.4.2018 (1 day). Hence, it was named the “Geeko Speedy Gozales” scandal!
On 27.4.2018 TM director ‘certified” certain (20%) part of so-called work completed and recommended for payment of RM11,963,160.00 to Geeko.
On 6.5.2018 (some 10 days later) TM paid out the RM11,963,160.00 in lightning speed.
• The intricacies of the Geeko scandal were meticulously recorded and shared through numerous posts on my blog between 2018 and early 2019.
• After the exposure in my blog, Siew Ka Wei and Elizabeth Ken were arrested on January 9, 2019, by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (SPRM) and were held in detention for four days.
I am surprised that for the past 4 years, Siew Ka Wei and/or Elizabeth Ken and/or Emil Rinaldi did not bother to lodge any report for criminal defamation.
PADU / Ministry of Education Involved RM340 million MCMC / USP Fund
On July 1, 2019, I shed light on another scandal involving the procurement of tablets through PADU, an agency under the Ministry of Education. This scandal saw the misuse of RM340 million from the Universal Service Provision (USP) fund, managed by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), to finance what turned out to be a disastrous tablets-for-school initiative. In these articles, you will observe that Siew Ka Wei and Elizabeth Ken figure prominently. The documentation – minutes of meetings, and other relevant agreements – highlight Siew Ka Wei representing Utusan Melayu Bhd and Elizabeth Ken acting as a witness to the signature of YBKhairul Firdaus Akbar Khan, who is now the MP for Batu Sapi and Deputy Minister of Tourism & Art in an agreement in the deal!
Hopefully MACC will commence its investigation into the failed PADU’s RM430 million tablets project using public fund.
Iskandar Mizal is the Managing Director of MAHB and a controversial character in MAHB.
In May 2023, I received credible information that Iskandar Mizal, MD of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB), was pushing on to establish a business deal with BXC Travellers Sdn Bhd (BXC) aka BoxCube, purportedly again using the Chinese IT giant, Tencent Holdings, as an inducement.
To shed light on these developments, I had published two articles, dated May 1 and May 3, 2023, respectively as stated above.
Presumably, my revelations did not sit well with the aforementioned quartet, referred to as the ‘Gang of 4’, as my articles disrupted the proposed deal between MAHB and BXC using the so-called Chinese IT giant, Tencent Holdings, as leverage. This case bears striking resemblance to the “Geeko Speedy Gonzales”scandal of 2018.
In this scandal, Siew Ka Wei as Chairman of TM had acknowledged in a public statement that Tencent Holdings had insisted on using Geeko as a Special Purpose Vehicle for the RM99.693 million deal with Tourism Malaysia and Geeko.
Consequently, end 2018 the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (SPRM) launched an investigation into the “Geeko Speedy Gonzales” scandal, which involved public funds amounting to RM99.693 million and a government agency Tourism Malaysia. This investigation led to the arrest and four-day detention of Siew Ka Wei and one of his outfits so called media specialist, Elizabeth Ken on January 9, 2019. It is most surprising that both of them have not been charged yet. It is now time for MACC to charge sweeties Elizabeth Ken and his boss Siew Ka Wei!
The Report Under Section 499 & 500 Penal Code Against Me
I stand resolutely behind all the articles on my blog, which were penned based on information and facts procured from credible sources. Hence the “Gang of 4” could not withstand the publicities as the truth hurts!
In the past, AirAsia (AA) attempted to sue me for defamation, triggered by an article on my blog entitled:
AA’s defamation suit was dismissed with costs by YA Justice Su Geok Yiam, in the High Court, HERE.
Subsequently, AirAsia appealed to the Court of Appeal, but a few days before the scheduled hearing, they withdrew their appeal and compensated me with cost. At least AirAsia was daring enough to sue for defamation in the civil court and did not hide behind section 499 of Penal Code, criminal defamation! I applaud AA for that.
Dare Not File A Defamation Suit In Court – Hiding Behind The State Apparatus To Intimidate
I am confident that there is no basis for criminal defamation in this case, as all articles published on my blog are either true or substantially true, the guiding principle used by the Court for defamation case. Furthermore, they represent matters of public interest, particularly because the deals discussed involve public funds and government-linked companies (GLCs) or government agencies. GLCs or government agencies belong to the rakyat.
Remember, justice may be delayed, but it always prevails. In 2023, Malaysia has no room for the rich and powerful to manipulate the state apparatus like the police to suppress or oppress genuine public discourse on matters involving public interest and “duit rakyat”. I shall not be intimidated or deterred by this cowardly act of the people concerned. Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Information shall prevail in our beloved nation!

Is BXC Travellers (M) Sdn Bhd The Reincarnation Of The Infamous Geeko 1.0 Scandal Involving The IT Company, TENCENT?
After lying low for five years, the key players behind Geeko 1.0 have made a striking comeback with a new deal again with TENCENT, the Chinese equivalent of Google, as bait under the guise of BXC Traveller Sdn Bhd (BXC). The players needed a new facade as Geeko was too infamous and the two players had been arrested and detained in orange jumpsuit by MACC as shown in the picture above!
Unfortunately, the Board of Directors of Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) was seemingly led astray by its very own Managing Director Iskandar Mizal (Iskandar), who pushed for approval of the joint venture (JV) with BXC. Iskandar’s questionable employment track record in Biotech, POS Malaysia, and Media Prima raises concerns over MAHB’s decision to appoint such an individual, seemingly lacking competence and a commitment to good governance!
In 2022 The Players In Scandalous Geeko 1.0 Tried To Sell Its “New Deal” Using TENCENT As Bait To Ministry of Tourism
In 2022 the key players attempted to sell this “new deal” with Tencent as bait to the Ministry of Tourism. However, the deal fell through when officials recognized Elizabeth Ken during the presentation and the alarm bell rung! BXC’s presentation suffered an instant death in MOTAC! Despite this red flag, Iskandar’s curious influence managed to fool MAHB to accept the puffs in BXC’s proposal that it got the green light from MOTAC.
Iskandar: With proper due diligence, you would have known or ought to have known that the BXC puffs were false but you chose not to red flag it to MAHB Board! Did you care to verify the puffs that BXC possesses all the sought after licence (like banking licence in Malaysia) with the authorities in China and BXC? No! Why? Tau sama tau lah kan!
Under Geeko 1.0, the key players included Elizabeth Ken, Emil Rinaldi Sjaiful (in the background), and the renowned Siew Ka Wei, the Ancom Bhd‘s executive chairman and former chairman of Tourism Malaysia (TM), who played a pivotal role in the scandal. The above “Meet Our Team” was a screenshot taken from BXC’s website. Elizabeth Ken is the founder and CEO of BXC!
Though Elizabeth Ken does not appear as a shareholder or director in BXC, the company’s website lists her as its founder and CEO. Sweeties Elizabeth Ken is, of course, the key player in BXC and was also very instrumental in the scandalous Geeko 1.0 debacle in 2018. Sweeties Elizabeth Ken also represented BXC to do a presentation to Ministry of Tourism and Culture (MOPTAC), when YB Nancy Shukri was the Minister. Fortunately, MOTAC did not proceed further.
Now that Tourism Malaysia and MOTAC have new leadership under YB Tiong King Sing and Datuk Ammar Abd Gapar as the Director General of TM, lets watch closely whether BXC and/or Elizabeth Ken and her partner will try to fool MOTAC again.
Iskandar Mizal’s Push For The JV With BXC: Desperation or Deception?

It is perplexing that Iskandar would be so desperate to have MAHB enter into a JV with an insolvent BXC, completely disregarding the company’s financial status. As a publicly listed and government-linked company (GLC) dealing with public funds, MAHB must exercise proper due diligence in all transactions.
BXC’s Insolvency: A Red Flag Ignored Wilfully?
It is evident that Iskandar chose NOT to inform the MAHB Board that, as of June 16, 2022, BXC “could no longer continue as a going concern” as stated in the BXC’s auditor (Abdul Raji & Co) letter attached to the Annual Account of BXC and filed with SSM.
In verbatim:
“Material Uncertainty Related to Going Concern
We drawn attention to Note 2 in the financial statements, which indicates that the Company incurred a net loss of RM791,117 during the year ended 31 December 2021 and, as of that date. The Company’s current liabilities exceeded its currents assets by RM928,808. As stated in Note 2, These events or conditions, along with other as set forth in Note 2, indicatethat a material uncertainty exist that may cast significant doubt on the Company’s liability to continue as a going concern. Our opinion is not modified in respect of this matter.”

In accounting terms, this means that BXC no longer has enough funds to pay outstanding debts and stay in business. If BXC were a publicly listed company, it would be classified under PN17 by Bursa Malaysia, a status reserved for financially distressed companies.

MAHB Is A Public Listed & A Government-Linked Company Established With Public Fund
As a government-linked company (GLC) established with public funds, MAHB has an obligation to protect public interests and avoid associating with controversial companies or engaging in deals with unscrupulous characters. The Board of Directors of MAHB should convene a special meeting, without the presence of Iskandar Mizal, as he is an interested party directly or indirectly, to reassess their ill-considered decision to enter into a JV with BXC and the highly controversial characters with a history of questionable dealings and BXC current state of insolvency. The interests of MAHB’s shareholders and the Malaysian public demand nothing less than a thorough, transparent review of this alarming situation failing which there will be a trust deficit for MAHB and more importantly its Board!
Iskandar Mizal Should Be Sacked For Knowingly Failed To Perform Due Diligence

Last but not least, it is too glaring that Iskandar Mizal had miserably FAILED to perform his important duties as the MD to perform due diligence on BXC and its JV proposal as expected of him and to present the full facts to the MAHB Board for it to make an informed judgment, in the public interest and the interest of MAHB Iskandar should be sacked forthwith.
It seems Iskandar never learnt from his experience in Biotech Corporation, POS Malaysia and Media Prima! Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it!
Rumour has it that Iskandar was parked in MAHB by his good “friend” a “syok sendiri” ex minister of … , who was running very high before GE15 but walking around with a “Special Tongkat” but now he has no cloud waiting to be clobbered when the time comes!
It is in the public interest that MAHB should get rid of this Gaji Buta bum as soon as possible before it is too late – before he brings down MAHB with him!

In a recent development, Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) fell prey to the tactics employed by BXC Traveller Sdn Bhd‘s Elizabeth Ken and/or Emil Rinaldi, and/or the close associate of its Managing Director, Iskandar Mizal. Intriguingly, Iskandar Mizal played a crucial role in urging the MAHB board to approve this so-called joint venture with the company, which also leverages the renowned Chinese company Tencent as bait. But why? We’ll delve into the details later.
Tencent, often considered the Chinese equivalent of Google, is the very reason in 2018 Tourism Malaysia (TM) was deceived in the Speedy Gonzales Geeko deal worth RM99.693 million. For the benefit of our new readers, we will endeavor to explain the scandalous Geeko saga and the impending scandal involving MAHB.
To fully grasp the impending scandal involving MAHB and BXC Traveller Sdn Bhd, it’s crucial to first comprehend the modus operandi employed by the key players in the scandalous Geeko deal.
Let’s begin with an introduction to BXC Traveller Sdn Bhd – Elizabeth Ken Is The Founder / CEO

BXC Traveller Sdn Bhd Tried To Get Ministry of Tourism & Cultures (MOTAC) To Hv a JV With Them – But MOTAC Officers Knew About Elizabeth Ken & Partner Were Detained By MACC For The Scandalous Geeko RM99.693 million Deal – So NO DEAL
According to reliable sources between August and October 2022, Elizabeth Ken and her special “partner” approached the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) under a new guise, BXC Traveller Sdn Bhd. Their intent was to sell a similar “product” as Geeko, once again using Tencent as bait. Elizabeth Ken conducted a presentation, but Elizabeth Ken and his partner rung the alarm bell amongst the vigilant officers at MOTAC/Tourism Malaysia (TM) as she was still fresh in their mind. They all recognized sweeties Elizabeth Ken and quickly alerted the then Minister of MOTAC about Elizabeth Ken’s involvement in the infamous scandalous RM99.693 million Geeko deal, which had brought MOTAC and TM into disrepute. The so-called new deal under the guise of BXC Traveller Sdn Bhd faced an instant death! Bravo to the then Minister of MOTAC, YB Nancy Shukri!
Iskandar Mizal: Did you and/or your macai perform the due diligence on what Elizabeth Ken and partner “informed” you or put in their proposal that MOTAC had agreed to JV with BXC? No?
Iskandar should come clean to tell the truth too the BOD of MAHB that no due diligence have been done by him or his macai on all the puffs dished out by Elizabeth Ken and partner in their proposals to MAHB!
It was a clear serious dereliction of duties by useless Iskandar by not performing due diligence on what had been claimed by BXC and/or Elizabeth Ken and partner.
Let see what the BOD is going to do to this incompetent and dubious character!
In 2019 Both Siew Ka Wei & his media specialist in Redberry Elizabeth Ken Were Arrested & Detained by MACC for 4 days

NST report 9.10.2019 on the arrest and detention of Siew Ka Wei, the then Chairman of Tourism Malaysia and executive chairman of public listed company Ancom Bhd & sweeties Elizabeth Ken, a media specialist of Redberry Media Group, which is an outfit of Ancom Bhd.
Both Elizabeth Ken and the then Tourism Malaysia chairman, Siew Ka Wei, who also held positions as the executive chairman of Ancom Bhd and Managing Director of Redberry Media Group, were arrested and detained by MACC for four days starting January 9, 2019. Subsequently, they were released on bail. At present, neither of them has been charged with corruption — YET.
An excerpt from an interview of Siew Ka Wei by The Edge.
On August 31, 2020, Siew Ka Wei was quoted in an interview with The Edge, bragging at the end of the interview to mislead that the Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) had cleared him of corruption as follows:
“I thank them (MACC) for their professionalism. They cleared me in this case early this year (2020) and issued an NFA (No Further action) in January. ..!” For the full interview please read in HERE – Ancom hits the reset button | The Edge Markets).
Interestingly, The Edge did NOT mention in their report that they had seen an official letter from the MACC to confirm what Siew Ka Wei had said! To date, the MACC has not issued any public statement indicating that both Siew Ka Wei and his partner, media specialist sweeties Elizabeth Ken have been cleared of all corruption charges and given an NFA (No Further Action) notice as claimed. For all intents and purposes, Siew Ka Wei’s partner has never been cleared by MACC because she didn’t claim to have been cleared by MACC. This peculiar statement seems to be something only Siew Ka Wei himself can comprehend. In fact, if one is cleared by MACC, there would be no need for issuance of an NFA notice in the first place. As a corporate wizard, Siew Ka Wei should have known better that he should produced a letter of clearance from MACC to support his claim.
Iskandar: Did you do any due diligence on this matter? To be consistent, the answer should be an OBVIOUS NO!
NFA Does Not Equate To An Acquittal By The Court
It is worth noting that even if the MACC had issued an NFA for Siew Ka Wei’s corruption case in connection with the Geeko scandal, which seems highly unlikely, it would NOT equate to an acquittal by a court. As such, the MACC and/or the Attorney General’s Chambers are free to file corruption charges against Siew Ka Wei and/or Elizabeth Ken at any given time. Time bars do not apply to criminal matters. It is essential for Siew Ka Wei to refrain from misleading journalists, government agencies/GLCs, and ministries on such issues. May be he desperately needed to sell himself as a clean corporate man after widely publicised arrest and 4 days detention by MACC !
At the time of these events, Siew Ka Wei held the position of chairman of Tourism Malaysia (TM), while simultaneously serving as the executive chairman of Ancom Bhd and Managing Director of Redberry Media Group, which is part of Ancom Bhd.
In The RM99.693 million Geeko Contract, Elizabeth Ken Featured Prominently
Elizabeth Ken, an ‘extraordinarily capable’ officer at Geeko, managed to secure the scandalous Geeko deal worth RM99.693 million for TM to evaluate without negotiation on April 3, 2018. The very next day, April 4, 2018, at 11:45 am, TM’s Lembaga Perolehan “A” approved the RM99.693 million deal. Astoundingly, on that same day, the scandalous RM99.693 million contract was prepared and signed! Elizabeth Ken signed the scandalous Geeko contract of RM99.693 million as the CEO of Geeko with Tourism Malaysia! By sheer coincidence, the same Elizabeth Ken aka Elly Ken is also the founder and CEO of BXC Traveller Sdn Bhd, which is now embroiled with MAHB!
Why The Geeko Contract Was Capped At RM99.693 mil?
One might wonder why the the scandalous Geeko deal was capped at RM99.693 million. The reason is that if it had exceeded RM100 million, a different set of rules from the Ministry of Finance would apply, making approval more challenging and rendering it impossible to complete the deal at such a rapid pace i.e. in one day. In reality, the evaluation, negotiation and approval process would take weeks, if not months.
TM signed the Contract With a 5 month old Geeko – Tencent!
Interestingly, when the contract was signed on April 4, 2018, Geeko was merely a five-month-old company. Yet, it effortlessly secured a RM99.693 million contract with a government agency, Tourism Malaysia. Securing this deal seemed as easy as enjoying a nasi lemak breakfast!
When Geeko Was Exposed, Siew Ka Wei As Chairman of Tourism Malaysia He Announced that the 5 month old company Geeko Was the SPV Specially Chosen By Tencent!
When the scandalous Geeko deal was exposed in May 2018, the then Chairman of Tourism Malaysia (TM), the renowned Siew Ka Wei, issued a press statement on June 1, 2018. In the last paragraph on page 2 of his press statement, he stated (pls see image above) as follows :
“Geeko Technology was the local partner chosen by Tencent to implement the project here. The principal officers are known to the Tencent Group. The choice of Geeko as a Special Purpose Vehicle for the project was made by Tencent.“
As an aside, does this paragraph or puff sound familiar to Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) and/or its Managing Director, Iskandar Mizal? I’m merely asking, so please don’t be upset if the essence of the above paragraph isn’t too familiar, or if the MD is experiencing selective memory lapses.

“MCMC Fund Looted” – Speedy Gonzales Resurface In PADU, Ministry of Education
To digress a bit and also to demonstrate Siew Ka Wei continued prowess as a “corporate genius” when it comes to “projects”, selling special “products” or “connections”, “Joint venture” involving million of public fund. He was and still is able to get things sorted out with government departments not only in Motac/Tourism Malaysia but Ministry of Education/Padu and others.
Siew Ka Wei was incredibly successful in securing contract to supply tablets to school via PADU under the Ministry of Education using fund under the care of MCMC! Of course, Siew Ka Wei’s partnership with his so-called media specialist Elizabeth Ken aka Elly Ken featured prominently in the dubious failed PADU’s RM340 million tablets deal too!

Iskandar Mizal: Did You &/or Your Team Perform Due Diligence On BXC Traveller Sdn Bhd or The Failed Tablet Deal in Padu? No?

Had Iskandar Mizal and his team performed the necessary due diligence as expected of him as MD of a public listed company especially government-linked corporation (GLC) involving public fund, he would have easily discovered the above glaring facts and brief the MAHB board accordingly. All Iskandar needed to do was to ask his subordinate to perform a simple Google search on the names of the players especially Elizabeth Ken and his partner, all the information would appear before their eyes! However, Iskandar chose to exercise wilful blindness for reason best known to him and his associate! We know why! We are sure that the board also know why!
It is a case of “Harapkan Pagar, Pagar Makan Padi! Gaji Buta”!
