Oh goodness, I cannot believe how much of a slacker I am! You would think being pregnant I would have lots and lots to say and talk about, but I have felt like there is nothing new to report on. Thinking back about it though, I could have and should have done alot of talking so I could remember all of this.
This has NOT been the easiest most ideal pregnancy, but I would not take it back whatsoever!!! I have been in the hospital more than anyone would like, my blood sugars weren't playing nice, life has been more than stressful. Dr. Ferguson decided that at the start of the year I needed to be put on "At home rest", so I had to go on early maternity leave at work. It has been really nice to not have to go to work, I really wish I didn't have to go back after I have the baby.
I have started to show signs of Toxemia. My blood pressure is getting high, my feet and hands are swollen. They hurt and itch and I can't wait until they go back to normal! We are keeping a very close eye on my blood pressure and if it goes up much more then they will start me. Dr. Ferguson said at my appointment yesterday that he won't let me go any further than 38 weeks which will be February 6th, but he said I can go anytime after this Saturday. I'm really hoping to go next week sometime. Dr. Ferguson informed us yesterday that he will be on a cruise from the 27th-4th, I REALLY don't want to have my baby without my doctor here!!
Well I will TRY to keep my blog updated with the baby coming and everything!!
