Let's Try This Again!

I'm going to try again...blogging. I have enjoyed following Joe's cousin's blog since they moved to Florida, so I'm going to start a New Year's resolution (or a new March resolution) to update the blog so you can all enjoy Shane as he grows. So here we go...again! And I apologize now if it's not the coolest or creative blog; I just want to post some pics and give you updates! With Love, Tiff

 

Shane loves Orange Juice in the morning! It's so cute to hear him try and say it too! He's working on lots of words right now! I will see if I can upload some videos too.

It's About Time!

Wow, it's been almost a year since I've posted to our blog. Facebook kind of got in the way, but since it's so public now and I have so many "friends" I didn't want to just start posting all this personal stuff about Shane! So, we're going back to blogging so our family and "real" friends can enjoy Shane as he grows so fast! Enjoy!

Living it up in BEND, OR

We love this place! Our friends told us that once you visit Bend, you'll want to move. So beware if you ever go! Here are some of our pics.

Third Time's a "Charm"...Half Dome

Half Dome never ceases to amaze me. We decided last minute to conquer it, I was hesitant, but Joe knew all along that he wanted to hike it. He had to ease me into it b/c I've done it twice before and know how hard it is. We made it to the top! I can't believe it, but my muscles speak for themselves. I am sore as heck, Joe is too, but he doesn't show it! All I have to say is that I love Yosemite and I love being able to say that we hiked 16 miles with a 4,800 foot elevation climb.

2 more miles? My face says it all. But there was no giving up at this point.

Joe coming DOWN the cables. Most people say going down is easier, but I couldn't figure out what was worse. Going up isn't too bad b/c you just look ahead and can't see behind you...I think coming down is more scary b/c you have to look at where you could potentially fall down to. Yikes!

Craig's List Crazy!

We found some killer deals on Craig's List this past week! Joe got a truck shell for $100! A gorgeous patio set for $125! And a mirror for $20! And we found a backyard firepit in the trash, so that was free! One man's trash is now the Westa family's treasure...we roasted marshmellows last night. The Lord has totally blessed us!
