Hello again! I am excited to introduce to you our new way of sharing behind the scenes content on Kofi. As you know, creation is a process often long, arduous, but worth it to see the end result. In hope of being able to satisfy the need to share, but also be able to focus on our projects without worry, we’ve decided to start sharing “Collections”.
What is a Collection?
Every time we work on something, we often end up with far more content and ideas than can actually be utilized in the final project. This may range from unused characters, storylines, and plots, to whole worlds and parts of projects shelved. As a way to share aspects of the stories we love and are eager to share, but perhaps aren’t ready yet or won’t see the light of day under normal circumstance, we are collecting these pieces of art, writing, and other material to share with our tier 3 subscribers. I put a lot of thought into this, even wondering which tier would be acceptable for such a big yet straightforward undertaking, and because of the inherent exclusivity of our 3rd tier, we thought it would serve as the thing to make this tier worthwhile and really honor the investment that comes with that level of support.
I love telling stories, but it’s a shame that so much of the process gets left behind as we get closer to the end of projects, especially larger scale ones. I like sharing my characters, the topics I like exploring, and my worlds. This way I can do that comfortably.
Now, in our Collections there may be some spoilers, there may be content that is never actually used in canon, and there will most likely be a good mix of both. The collections will range in topic, but will be themed in some way. Our first is a collection of materials on our character Sinem from the “YnG” story of the World of Three universe. Our next will likely be related to our Supers world, centering various heroes and hero ideas I have for that world that probably won’t be used until a bit later in the stories from this universe.

I’m very excited to have found a way to work on what I want, but still safely share what I’m working on without worry about accidentally spoiling people or getting people interested in things that aren’t actually going to happen. I’m someone that takes their time and wants our first releases to be the only releases. This gives me a way to safely explore our worlds and get feedback and an idea of what’s working and what isn’t without needing to uproot an entire series or keep restarting a project.
…I am a little scarred from my years of reading webcomics and novels lmao
Anywho, thanks!
I cannot stress enough how excited and happy I am to be trying something new. We’ll be seeing how this works together. I have so many ideas, it’s nice to finally have a way to get them all out and not have to worry about taking too much time.
Have you met Sinem? I’m glad to finally be introducing her. I hope you love her too! ๐๐๐
