IC:Character Name: Senji Kiyomasa
Canon: Deadman Wonderland (Taken from Ch 49.2 "You guys are badass!!" and fistbump)
References Link: http://deadmanwonderland.wikia.com/wiki/Senji_KiyomasaAU/OC/Previous Game: canon
Age: 26
Appearance:
Senji is just under 180cm and very muscular. He's got black hair and dark eyes (possibly brown?). His right eye was removed early in the series, and he wears an eyepatch over it. He has four caligraphic letters (DSMK) tattooed over his right eyebrow. His right arm has been removed about halfway down the humerus. He typically wears black jeans, a tanktop, and a black thigh-length and pin-striped jacket. Shoes seem to be optional, but when he does, he wears boots
Cause of Death:Unknown at this point due to possibility of canon/castmate related death. With permission, if he does die in canon, he will update with the full memory of his death. If he does not die by the end of the canon, he will get hit by a bus (... and update to the end of the series). His last functional memory for the time being will be taken from the end of chapter 49.2 "Hey, Ganta! Senji! You guys are badass!!" and the fist bump. After that, it will be a blank. Because he will not remember the exact circumstances of his death, I'm going to have him believing that he fell off the roof after passing out to blood loss |D;;
Impact of Death:Hahaha -- He's going to be extremely unhappy with how uncool that was, and possibly a couple of pitch fits about it. COOL GUYS HAVE TO GO OUT IN AWESOME WAYS! IT'S A LAW OR SOMETHING!
Character Info:There are two choices for the deadmen – people who are able to manipulate their blood into weapons – of G-sector's Cannibal Corpse: fight or die. If they win, they walk away with 10 million CP and a candy. If they lose and they're lucky enough to live, they have to pay a penalty and some part of their body (kidneys, voice boxes, eyes) gets removed on a live broadcast to the other deadmen. For those who participate in the Cannibal Corpse, fighting isn't just about staying alive, it's about avoiding vivisection.
This is the world Senji Kiyomasa lived and thrived in for at least four years. A world where being a “deadman” is not just a euphemism for the death row inmates, but the reality of their situation. Above and in the G-sector prisoners wear a collar which constantly injects poison into their body. The antidote comes in the form of a candy, which can be purchased for 1million CP and must be taken every three days to delay their deaths. Because earning the CP is so important to the survival of inmates, competition is incredibly high.
Senji Kiyomasa is adept at not losing in the Cannibal Corpse to the point where his loss to Ganta was one only times he'd ever lost, and he accepted the loss both of the fight and of his eye with good humor and grim resolve. He is man who is highly competitive, loves fighting, and has an undeniable obsession with strength. It is a constant and reoccurring theme throughout his appearances, and his time in G-sector revolves around fighting and training to fight. As he explains it, though, as crazy as everyone seems inside G-sector, the outside world is no different: “killing, lying, only the strong survive. Your perfect world just doesn't exist. If you didn't group together, you wouldn't survive? If you tell me that, I'll tell you if you're weak, don't show your fangs.”
Senji's attitudes towards fighting, killing, and strength are pieced together from the insanity of the Cannibal Corpse and the reason he ended up in prison in the first place. Eight years ago, following the Great Tokyo Earthquake which destroyed the city and left it in ruins, Senji was a rookie on the police force. While most of the force was pretty corrupt, ignoring crime or killing criminals outright, his unit and their leader, Domon, actually fought to uphold the laws and restore order. Senji was a little cocky and a lot eager to please his senpai, and he was a powerhouse for their unit, already showing the ability to use his branch of sin. Because of this, Senji received a letter from a group of criminals, calling him out to fight them. Domon warned him not to get provoked by them, but he kind of laughed about it and told Domon not to worry about it: “Just rely on me!” To this, Domon responded by punching him in stomach and leaving him in the floor as he and the rest of the unit went out to meet the criminals, calling Senji a kid still and not adult enough to handle things. By the time he had recovered and reached the site, the men of his unit had been killed and cut apart, and Domon was the only one still alive. Before he died, he called Senji his burden and added, “... but depending on others is a specialty of kids, right? Oh well... you too... one day... will find yourself actually feeling good to be relied on. If depending on others is a specialty of kids, then acting all cool is a specialty of adults!”
Ganta is Senji's “one day.” Because of the kid, Senji starts seeing things beyond fights and strength – though that preoccupation never quite goes away. Following Ganta's second fight, Senji drags him out to lunch, happily making Ganta pay for the victory feast and bonding with him over old sentai shows and ramen. He then shows a rather realistic and brutal understanding of how life works within G-sector as he points out that even though Ganta's wins had been ridiculous, they were still wins and they made him a target. We see his frustration with his feelings when he and other deadmen are betrayed by Ganta's attempt to save someone they were fighting, which resulted in their own injuries. He's angry and hurt by the betrayal and more than anything by the fact that he is becoming soft by caring for Ganta and was able to feel betrayed.
He eventually gets over his anger at that, and goes to help Ganta rescue his friend and ends up fighting against the man who had sent him the note which had gotten Domon and his unit killed. It's during this fight that he fully accepts the responsibility of being an adult and about being strong enough to protect those who rely on him. A lot of other events at this time culminate in the death of the person in charge of the prison, the moving of the inmates out of the DMWL prison, and the eventual acquittals of a number of deadmen who were falsely imprisoned, including Ganta and Senji.
Senji does try to settle into the outside world, but he can't quite pull off business suits, slicked down hair, and talking politely. Even though he's been released, he's been changed by his time inside the prison, and it's a struggle for him to adapt. Even at the best of times, he's awkward and kind of socially inept, and his crass good humor and fighting ability won't work on the outside as it did within the prison, which he's pretty quick to realize. So, when the opportunity to return to the prison to face the Red Man (the progenitor of the branch of sin and Ganta's childhood friend), he eagerly jumps on the opportunity, joining up with a number of other deadmen who are facing similar difficulties in adjusting to their new lives.
…
A final recurrent theme for Senji is his inability to handle women. He has a tendency to blush, yell, and flail around them, citing scanty and risqué clothing as deliberate attempts to distract and trying repeatedly to get them to put on less revealing clothing. He grouses about their softness and lack of muscle (aka breasts) being problematic. There is no clear origins for this, nor any explanations given thus far. The incidents seem to have a largely gag-reel feel to them, and this reaction will be played down in Thusia unless for that purpose.
(Essays about this and his sexuality will come eventually, but I'm already over the 1k limit and this is a fairly inconclusive subject.)

Abilities (before Powercap):Kind of ridiculous really, but just about everone in DMWL is. Senji is definitely in the upper tier fighters of the Cannibal Corpse, but he's not at the very top and even the underdog gets the advantage occasionally. He is what is known as a "deadman" one of the people infected with the Branch of Sin, which allows them to freely manipulate their blood. Each Branch takes different forms. Senji's take the form of blades constructed out of blood. These are not only incredibly sharp and strong (they slice easily through reinforced steel and essentially blast doors) but he can lengthen them to incredible lengths by opening "netting" into the blades. This enables him to lengthen the blades without using excessive amounts of blood. Aside from his rigid blades, he also utilizes a flexible, whiplike blade. He primarily manifests these blades from long cuts on his forearms. However, he can also manifest them on his hands (as in Invisible Black, which will be discussed later) and his feet which he has used to climb up walls. Essentially any cut on his body can become a blade.
Deadmen's blood can be shattered or negated. In canon this usually occurs when they face off against another deadman. Specific weaponry was also developed to allow ordinary humans to combat deadmen and negate their blood attacks.
Senji has developed several variations of his attack both adding more blood to the blades to make it larger and stronger, and the netted effect which allows less blood to cover and cut a larger area. He does have another attack which operates on a slightly different principle. Invisible Black is an attack generated from the back of Senji's hand, which has the ability to produce cuts faster than the speed of sound. (IDK MY BFF PHYSICS HERE) He uses this ability to cut through some of the specially developed weaponry and armor that was supposed to be proof against the Branches of Sin.
It is unknown if he will be able to use Invisible black since the loss of his right arm, but he is able to manifest an enormous blade from the stump of the severed arm.
Most deadmen seem to be able to control their blood enough to stop injuries, but we have also seen Senji injured to the point where he seems to lose this ability. He also is able to manifest several of the blades and use it as a barricade.
As of chapter 47 (I think), Senji's right arm has been severed a couple of inches below the shoulder. He is capable of manifesting a large blade of blood from the stump of his arm.
Abilities (after Powercap):There are two caps to his use of the Branch of Sin. One of these is natural -- basically it is generated through his blood so if he uses or loses too much blood, he dies ... again. \o/ The second cap (and more standard one) it will cap his ability to maintain the blades for extended periods of time and limit the length his blades can reach to approximately 5-6 ft. His speed will also be cut down significantly, though I intend to allow him one use of the Invisible Black without passing out. That is a very specialized skill though and I'm currently uncertain whether he can even manifest that attack with only one arm.
I don't know mostly just keeping him from being ridiculous.

Samples:-Provide 3 threads of you playing the character elsewhere:All threads take place at CFUD. Senji was hired there as the Fight Club organizer... >_>
1) And then Prussia decided that people should punch people so Senji did:

http://campfuckudie.livejournal.com/5619562.html?thread=2299669866#t2299669866... if you need more please ask it's been a while since I've played him and these were the first lengthy ones I could locate.
Additional links are the easy one (ish). Please note again, he was the fight club organizer and active in that role as a counselor so it shaded most of his conversations.

You've gotta be kiddin' me. I couldn't've died like that. It's a joke right? No one this badass dies after they have their climatic fight scene. That is so uncool. I mean seriously, it was epic. One shot straight to the heart -- I sliced that damn Mockingbird to pieces and the roof with him. It was dead on. Then I'm waken up here, and some guy's tellin' me that I really am dead. Y'gotta know this sucks.
This servin' gods crap to restore the world doesn't make a whole lot of sense either. I don't mind havin' to fight to do it. Better than tryin' to act like suits in some office doin' paperwork to fix this hole. I ain't suited to that kind of clean cut crap -- never was. At least this is stuff I'm good at -- the best -- just... It pisses me off that I went out like that, y'know? A cool guy's supposed to go out with a bang. They're not supposed to pass out and fall off the roof after the damn fight. Who the hell goes out like that? Shit... whatever, I wanna see what this hellhole has to offer and see what kind of entertainment this place is gonna be.
