[Spring's arrival couldn't have come at a more appropriate time. It always brought a change of some sort, and that's exactly what Saori needs right now. Weather shifts always do wonders, especially after an abrupt alteration of plans. The silence from the Malnosso isn't exactly unwelcome either, given the lingering aftereffects of the previous month, but it does leave her with far too much time to contemplate what comes next. So, distractions are probably best, and she picks up her journal.]

Voice

Hello everyone, I've got a request to make. Is there anyone in the village willing to teach me how to use a gun properly? I haven't ever learned, and I think with spring here, it's time to change that. If you're interested in an exchange, I'd be willing to offer food or training with more traditional weapons, unarmed combat, or musical instruments I'm familiar with.

[She pauses a moment, thoughtful.]

And, for the New Feathers that've arrived this month, I'd like to offer you a bit of advice a dear friend of mine once gave me. 'It is wise for us to forget our troubles, there are always new ones to replace them,' he'd say to me, and I can't think of any situation that would apply to more than this one. I know arriving here is confusing, and perhaps difficult. You likely have friends at home that you miss, and troubles there to sort out but for the moment set them aside and focus on the here and now. Find a skill, and learn something new. Here, it might just save your life one day. Or keep you from going mad. You never know what might happen, after all.

[She laughs, a bitter expression as much as one of mirth.]

To that end, I'd also appreciate recommendations on how best to stave off boredom that don't involve martial training. Are there any films you'd say it'd be a sin to never see? Or books that everyone should read? I'm curious, and willing to try nearly anything.

[And with that, she closes the feed out.]

Action

[For the majority of the day, Saori can be found at the Battle Dome, Mythoria Cafe, or Seventh Heaven. While at the dome, she's running herself ragged in a series of brutal looking simulations, emerging after each one to take a short break, drenched in sweat and often with small cuts and bruises. This cycle continues for hours, extending well into the evening, with breaks for meals at either Mythoria or Seventh Heaven. She doesn't leave until well after dark, arriving home at House 44 worn out and dropping in exhaustion. Feel free to catch her anywhere, at her destinations, between them, or wherever you'd like.]
