We took a few days in the week between Christmas and New Years to drive to San Diego for a nice change of scenery. Here's a few favorite photos from the trip.
Eric and Dave went on a deep sea fishing trip. Their boat was the Premier behind them.
Dave's first catch was a poisonous scorpion fish that he wasn't allowed to touch. Pretty though!
We visited the Cabrillo Tide Pools and spent a day discovering awesome things.
tiny crab
brittle starts, actually not brittle but very squirmy
tiny two-spot octopus, so cool!
While Eric and Dave fished, Dan, Clay and I went to a lovely sandy beach. We played in the waves and froze, then just looked for cool shells and enjoyed the scenery.
This is the view from our room, across San Diego Bay is the city skyline. We had sunny 70 degree weather both days we spent there. It was amazing and awesome and needed! :)
