OK, but I’m not aware of an equal or greater amount of bluster and argument against the forces of habitat destruction, pollution, road-building and all the other threats to the great American pastimes of hunting and fishing or even picknickng in the Cornhusker state. Hugh? Or is this just pandering to a certain category of voters? From what I remember from my repeated visits to Nebraska twenty years ago, the threats to these pastimes are very real and getting worse, just as they are here in Pa.
