February 2012

Tommy Turned 8

ImageWe had a birthday party at the park for Tommy, I know how lucky in February, we had a scavenger hunt and all the kids had a blast. We had about 35 kids show up and were so happy that the weather was nice and we could be outside.

ImageI just cannot believe Tommy is 8 and getting ready to get baptized. He got some really wonderful gifts to help him get there. he got scriptures, a hymn book, scripture case and a journal. He also got some money an electric train and a coin collection. He received his very own copy of the Minersville History Book which he has not put down since. He loves to read it and learn about Minersville.

ImageTommy's Grandma Bealer made him this really cool cake.

ImageLast week I was trying to plan ahead in case the baby came early, so I asked Tommy what he would like for his birthday dinner. He thought for a minute and then simply said a piece of your homemade bread with butter on it not warmed up. (out of the mouth of a child how sweet)

January 2012

ImageHappy Birthday Grandma Bealer!
We had a Birthday dinner for Grandma on Sunday at our house. I had a lot of help and appreciate Jared and his willingness to serve. We had a great time and lots of fun. Unfortunately George and Mom got sick that night and finally gave in a went to the doctor. We are all feeling better now.

2nd Grade Honor Roll
ImageTommy made the A honor roll again this quarter - what a hard worker.

Kindergarten Honor Roll
ImageHenry was the Alphabet super star in his class = he was the first in his class to know all his letters and all their sounds.

ImageHenry and George finally talked Tommy into having a sleep over with them in their bed.

ImageHappy New Year - We had a New Years party at our house and we played cards. We turned our kitchen counter into a black jack table, Jared is just giving the boys a little poker tutorial.

Our Month of January was a great time. We have been able to get ready for the baby and get most of our loose ends tied up.

Our year at a Glance 2011

I know it took me forever to update our lives and I am sure you all are overwhelmed at all the posts. I had to do it for myself since this is the only way I scrapbook anymore. I hope you all enjoy!

Holiday joys with boys

The Train

ImageWe got a train last year for Christmas but never put it up so what cool thing when dad got out the train. The boys were seriously mesmerized.

ImageThe boys and dad trying to figure out the WII. We had such a wonderful Christmas and are truly grateful for the miracle of our Saviors birth and the Joy that it brings to each one of us.

ImageAunt Lou and Uncle Brett gave the boys this cool clubhouse which they got colored and set up and of course it turned right into a gun shop.

ImageWe had such a pretty tree and the boys really enjoyed decorating it.
For Christmas this year Grandma and Grandpa Woolf took us all to Heber City to ride the North Pole Express. This was such a fun thing to take the kids on. We stayed in a condo all together and had such a good time. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Woolf!

Fall is Fun

What an eventful Fall we had - lots of fun and games for the Woolf Family

ImageTommy tried flag football this year and really enjoyed learning a new sport. They only won one game but they had a good time and learned a lot. Cory Hollingshead was his coach.

ImageWe got the trailer ready and headed to the hills for camping and hunting fun. We tried the Elk hunt this year with Grandpa Bealer but what a muddy mess. Grandpa got a nice 6 point elk on the first day so we were all done with that, now on to the deer hunt. The boys just love to be in the hills and it is really a fun time for the whole family. We did not have a tag but we still enjoy all the fun. Henry and Tommy both got to do the opening morning hike with the guys which was a real treat for them.

ImageCarving pumpkins - a little work and a lot of creativity

ImageTommy our Vampire - age 7

Thanks Aunt Alayna and McQuade

ImageTommy also gave basketball a try and ended up really enjoying it even though he made some pretty serious threats to his mom - for instance, if he had to go to practice and waste his playing time then he could play whenever he wanted.

ImageTommy received straight A's first quarter and 100 % every spelling test all year long.

ImageWe put up a Thankful tree. it was really fun to see the boys each day think of new and different things they were thankful for. George was thankful for Jesus everyday.

ImageHenry has made so many wonderful projects in Kindergarten and we want to show them off.

Goodbye to the Eyrings

Goodbye to our friends the EyringsImageOur Neighbors the Eyrings moved to Missouri with the pig farm in October 2011.
We will miss them but wish them the best of luck!

Trout & Berry Days

Henry awaits his catch

ImageHenry was the only one who was willing to try the trout scramble this year.

ImageB, Ash, & myself decided to participate in the pie eating contest and try and win ourselves a case of jam. We love to go home to Paradise for trout and berry days and try to see as many friends and family as we can.

School is cool

Tommy 2nd Grade
Mrs. Coombs
ImageTommy started public school a little late this year because we tried an attempt at home school. It was deffinately different but something that I think Tommy and I both enjoyed a little. But decided after 2 weeks Tommy needed to be in school with his friends and that mom and dad could try and supplement at home what is lacking at school. Small towns are great but it unreal how fast you are judged by those you call friends when you do something out of the norm.

ImageFirst day of school and Henry is acting very cool!

ImageMrs. Brough is Henry's Teacher this year!

ImageWhat a cute Kindergartener. Henry was so excited to head to real school but a little sad that Tommy did not come along. Henry is the youngest in his class but definitely ready to learn and grow.

ImageBig school little guy!!

Lagoon & School clothes

We took our second annual trip to Salt Lake to do a little school shopping and playing at Lagoon!

ImageGeorge was not a big fan of the rides but by the end of the day he kinda started to enjoy them! Tommy was a great riding partner for George and was really patient with all the drama! Tommy just loved the White Roller coaster and as soon as he would get off of it we would get back in line to go again.

ImageBumper cars were an all time favorite for the Boys and we ventured back to them many times that day.

ImageTommy is just out for a little stroll

ImageHenry just loved the rides and couldn't get to the next one fast enough. He was a little small for most of the big rides but the ride Bomborra was a his favorite. It was the new ride this year and he was big enough and would get off and head right back to the line to go again. We had such a fun time and really enjoyed the day all together. Jen and her kids, Grandma Marshall, Sarah and Jeremy and their boys, Grandma Bealer, Aunt Ali, Aunt Alayna and Me and the boys. We had a blast.
