Had a conflict with another plugin hindering admin-ajax to work and causing Internal Server Errors. If you search the support threads, conflicts with other plugins are quite usual. There are better alternatives out there.

Same problem! after updating the plugin to the latest version I got an internal error, to test I had to restore files and update the plugins 1 by 1. When I updated the plugin “Custom Sidebars” I got an internal error again.
