    Hi,

    A. Thank you very much for this great plugin.

    B. I need to be able to update the temp theme’s functions.php file, but it I try to do so, I’m getting the current theme’s functions.php.

    Is there any way to do that?

    TIA.

    Glad to help.

    Where/how are you trying to edit the functions.php file?

    Are you able to edit other files from the temp theme?

    WP-Admin -> Appearance -> Theme file editor
    It shows me the current functions.php file.

    I didn’t try as I didn’t need to.

    Thanks. I just tested on default WordPress as follows:

    1. Installed Theme Switcha
    2. Visited Theme Switcha settings and chose an alternate theme
    3. Visited the Theme-File-Editor and selected the alternate theme
    4. Selected the functions.php file and made a quick change
    5. Saved changes

    This worked flawlessly on default WordPress. If you are getting different results, there must be some other factor involved, like another plugin could be doing something with caching or whatever. Best advice is to do some basic troubleshooting of your setup. I would be glad to provide a free guide if it might be useful for you. Let me know how I can help, thank you.

    Sorry for late reply. It seems I’ve missed out the option to change theme in the theme files editor.

    My bad. Sorry. And thanks a lot for your answer.
