Hi @juliengarrigue, thank you for asking. I would like to take a moment to thank all of you who have reached out to me, the outpouring of messages has been beyond overwhelming. I’ve been working to transfer ownership of code and copyrights to other volunteers, and I’m happy to announce that the wait is over! VeronaLabs, the team behind one of the most popular analytics plugins for WordPress, WP Statistics, has agreed to take over and continue the development of this plugin. I will stick around for a while, mostly as a gentle presence out of public view. So please join me in welcoming Mostafa Soufi and his team as the new maintainers of Slimstat Analytics. Thank you for stepping forward!
Hi @coolmann,
Since VeronaLabs will take over and continue the development, are you going to continue to support it for the foreseeable future? Do you think it is going to go end of life since WP Statistics is under VeronaLabs? And are you or VeronaLabs will be providing a path to migrate from SlimStat to WP-Statistics? Just wanted to ask all these questions because thousands of our clients are using Slimstat.
Thanks!
Hi @michfm
Actually, there is no migration plan to WP Statistics, SlimStat remains and will continue as usual.

Hi @mostafas1990, thanks for your response. Does it mean that it is going to be actively developed/improved and you’re not just offering security updates? Thank you so much!
Actually, the first thing on our agenda is improving the plugin widgets design as well as fixing issues and redesigning the website, then we will work on implementing the features.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Hi Mostafa,
We recently donated to slimstat/Jason because slimstat is one of our essential tools. we are staunchly against surreptitiously forcing users into the google surveillance ecosystem/swamp. slimstat’s current design works well for us so we would like you to post a list of any changes you are contemplating, specifically to the core functionality we all depend on, so they can be discussed prior to you putting them on your development plan.
thx
Hi @soolee
The layout and structure will not be changed in the design work and based on user feedback, we will likely develop new features.
